When we think about the Warrior's arsenal, the easy answer is everything. But what are the weapons most suitable for the Warrior?
Two-handed huge swords and axes? Torches, Clubs, Maces, and all kinds of one-handed support weapons? A Shield - for sure? Do you think ranged weapons could be used by the mighty Warrior?
Think outside of the box and let's see what you can come up with!

I think a warrior should have the possibility to use any melee weapon (two or one handed) but abilities numbers would have to change depending on the weapons you have, it's a lot of work, but it would be nice

Without a doubt, a huge 2-handed greatsword is one of the most common fantasies, or at least in my case. The shield is also a great option if you want a more defensive approach, usually a combination of sword and shield, but how about just the shield? That the shield is the only thing he has equipped and this is in turn his source of damage, he could have strong counter-attack skills, retaliation damage or generate damage auras and focus the rest of his skills more on defensive support, providing protection and shields to allies. Perhaps this makes him a very static and boring character, but he could be loved by those who want to feel like a metapod and be the boss's punching bag.
In other games, I have seen how the warrior is given the option to use a bow or crossbow as ranged weapons, it is great that one of its characteristics is to be able to use any type of weapon, but when I imagine a warrior, I think of someone in front of battle so close to the enemy that you can feel their sweat, not someone who stays behind the others throwing things. If you want to give the warrior a little more range, he could be the only one capable of using a spear and if you want, a spear has magical power to use as a cannon or launch a lightning bolt.
There's also the Morning Star, that's always great.
The warrior should be an expert in different combat styles melee mostly, I don't see a problem on a Warrior able to use a Bow or anything ranged because is a master at arms, BUT in this one I really believe the skills should be focused on MELEE WEAPONS, so bow and ranged weapons would be like a bit USELESS, so no problem to let the warriors use ranged weapons, maybe just for fun, or trolling, lol.
Two handed, Spears and medium range weapons, and 1 hand and shield for Tanks specs, like full Plate Armored Medieval Knights, more protection, less speed, more energy spent at attacking
Same than tanks specialization for warriors like the Crusaders in mail/leather less protection, a bit more mobility and attack speed off tanks maybe.
Same than tanks, but also all kind double handed weapons (2 spears, swords, etc) and ranged weapons for Leather/light armored warriors like Vikings, Spartans, Vikings berserkers and Gladiators, also they should be allowed to use the shields on a more agressive way like Kratos in God of War 4, or even double shields like Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
The warrior is an expert at arms, I don't see why they can't use the shield or double shields in a more agressive way

I think I should carry swords, axes, maces, all those weapons of different sizes, after all it is a class that is polyvalent in terms of weapons, of course if someone wants to wear a shield sacrificing some damage for armor, would not be bad because it is at the choice of each player.
I personaly would love some way to play a damage specialisation using a shield. Like using a axe/sword/mace and a shield or maybe even beating enemies while using 2 shields. Other than that 2 handed weapons and/or dual wield for damage. a shield with or without weapon for tanking. Maybe even go with a whip and some supportive skills.
Okay, a very interesting "Captain America" playstyle is being formed for the Warrior :D
Sounds different, I can totally imagine that ;)
