I´m glad i could be of service :)
Marvelous Community,
In this DevDiscussion, we want to talk about Guilds. Describe to us what the perfect Guild system is for you, what tools would you like to have, would you love going on Guild Quests with your Guildmates? What about having your very own place where you could discuss important things with your Guild?
Would you like having also Guild managing tools even when you are offline?
What is the Guild system of your dreams?
Now is the time to give those amazing ideas, and see them come to life in Scars of Honor.
For me, guild is all about companionship and friendship, so missions and raids where you can do with your guild would be very interesting.
On the outside I think that for the most "violent" guilds a War between Guilds related to the game's Lore would be very good.
Finally I would add a World Boss being born every weekend or once a month on a map where the GvG would be released and where everyone could beat themselves up until the boss dies haha.
Honestly, I still don't know much about this game in development because I just got to know it from a video on YouTube, so I hope you forgive me if I talk about things that I have already talked about before
My proposals for the guild system is the following:
1) That special bosses be implemented which must be defeated by guilds in a special arena, if a guild manages to defeat the boss it will earn a buff for the members
For example: A guild defeats the boss and therefore its members gain a 10% special defense buff.
For this idea, it would be great if there were different bosses so that each guild can choose what they feel like the most. So that this is not abused and that the excitement of the battle is not lost, it would be good if the battle against this type of union chiefs would take place once a week and on a day when everyone is free, such as Saturdays or Sundays.
Because different members would be participating in the battle against the boss, I think the one that deals the most damage or the one with the most members alive at the end of the battle should win.
2) If the previous idea is not to your liking, you could do the same but with a guild against guild battle in which everyone fights as a team to win. This would create different strategies promoting teamwork to be able to beat the other guilds.
3) This is an idea that does not affect the guild system so much but I think it would be a good touch, I would like the names of the ranks in the clan to be edited and new ranks to be created
First example: That the leader instead of appearing as a leader would appear as Archangel in rank, then the moderators would follow as Angel and thus they would continue as they wanted
Second example: As for creating ranks, I mean that you can create a new rank and be able to edit the permissions it has in the guild such as recruiting, expelling, organizing raids, among other things.
Forgive me if I have bad English, I was doing this with the google translator
Personally, i don't like the idea of Guild Halls, for me, an MMORPG need a ton of people in your screen, but if you add some system like housing or guild hall, you decrease the population, mainly of the main cities, giving the impression of a dead game, where you don't have the high level characters in the main city, only new players.
For me, guilds are just a system, where you press a button, and then appear a screen showing details of your guild, like his level, banner, members etc.
And about levels, i think that systems where you need to upgrade you guild to have access to new buffs is a great idea, but, those buffs need to be something more focused on utility than effects for your character, for example
Guild level 1 - Nothing
Guild level 5 - More member space
Guild level 10 - Caravan Pet (allows you to summon a pet where you can change your transmog)
Guild level 15 - Decreased cooldown of summoning guild members
Guilde level 20 - Upgrade the Caravan Pet (Now he has a guild bank and a personal bank)
And on and on
But things like gold buffs, an really easy way to craft things or get items (Like an pet who is an Auction House or a blacksmith for example), i think those take out the importancy of the big cities and having to plan your journey through the world of the game.
PS: XP buff i don't care that much.
+10

For a long time, I've missed a guild vs guild system like Guildwars (Gw from now on).
You bought your Guild island (it was instanced) according to your needs (some favoured archers, some favoured warriors, etc). Each side had an NPC who was the "Leader", the first to kill him won the game.
In gw it was 8 vs 8 fights. It doesn't have to be an ultra massive 100 vs 100 to be fun.
Replicate this, with a ladder system where the top 10 (to say the least) would be given a visual reward (legendary armor or a mount, or even, why not, access to an item that unlocks a unique instance).
It could be something really fun and unique.
As for guild management, the typical, being able to add members, kick them out, being able to name each rank to the taste of their guilds and although I know, that wow classic didn't have it, I don't see bad that guild banks exist, they were useful.
Personally, I wouldn't put anything about leveling up, or getting special buffs for leveling up a guild, I think that would just break the game.
