So in the Journeys topic we started discussing the trading system which I think should have its own topic.
Let's see your ideas about the trading, market, auction house etc. Tell us what you like the most and what you dislike.
I'll start with an idea for having a market in the main cities where you go with your character, let's say before you log off and put up a stall with the items you want to sell, put an info above your head with what is it you're selling and log off, leaving your character there selling, when you come back online you sold everything and got the gold. This was originally introduced in Silkroad which was a totally cool game but unfortunately is dead now.
Hi guys first time here :D loving this concept! you guys must check albion online crafting/ trade system, literally you can trade EVERYTHING and you get in dungeons some gear (very random) with very low drop BUT you get things for crafting the high tier gear. This game is amazing thanks to the trade/crafting system. for crafting every tier 1-8 is important, if you wanna create t3 bar you need t2 BAR + t3 ORE, in this way, t4 needs t3 BAR + t4 ORES, and it keeps going to t8.
Because this game will not be "full loot" (losing gear when u die) i would love a new system based on repairs, but repairs are not that easy like wow no no no, if we get a epic/ legendary weapon / armor and our durability is red we will need an crafted item (not cheap) for reapiring and giving it to the npc blacksmith. This way we should think before abusing the use of high tier weapons on every content especially on PvP when we can die a lot more and mid tier would be as important as high tier if we don't want to spent a lot of money daily. For trading in the city auction house is the best, with buy orders and sell orders. not the system of WoW where only exist "sell orders"
The stall system imo and for my experience , its not worth because need a lot of space and can make the cities a very spamming site, can work if you make it instanced and dont let the ppl put the stall everywhere they want, maybe can work , dont know.
I think that a good AH system for this games will be the better option
I play Albion too, but imo i think that system dont works with this game because if we have dungeons and raids ( wolrd bosses maybe), but everyone can craft the same or better gear than that, theres no reason then to go to dungeons or raids if you can simply buy this equipment, and the system of albion is designed for pvp and full loot with really few pve,and focused in the thing that you have to change your equip very often, for this i think its no good system for this game.
Maybe an interesting system for crafters, can be that make an artisan market or something like this, that is an AH but the only products in ¡it are craftable items made by the players, and where you can place buy and sell orders, and have a ranking of the best sellers based on quality or quantity of selling orders or something like this to make a ranking.
Srry for my english , cause is not my first languge, ill hope this can be understood xp

Actually a good game needs a good PVP system, there is not fun where just raid loggers are in the game. Zones like "black zone" would be made, where are the high tier resources, this zone is not "full loot" but you own faction can kill you, so we get off the unbalance that is always on factions. Make this great game with great pvE and great Wpvp. No more raid logs please
I think AH is the best system but I would like to see some usefull stuff in NPC vendors. Maybe could be some epic item sometimes in a specific vendor or at least average items there. For example, nobody but begginers buy come kind of armor or weapon at vendors, because they are crap and you only use them to sell your stuff and repair.
But I totally agree that AH should be the core of the commerce system, although you can implement some innovation to improve the system, ofc. I think it would be great to have some kind of tool to negotiate with the vendor the final price, as it works the second hand webpages, and it would be great to be able of sending reasonable offers to the seller.

I think that a good pvp system dont need "black zones" , this type of zones promote more the ganking and the abuse of the system than the good and sane pvp imo
If you want a good pvp make it separated from the pve and the crafting, make battlegrounds of different sizes (10vs10,20vs20,50vs50) ,arenas and maps dedicated only to the Wpvp, or move the Wpvp around the world map, but make some safe zones too for the people that like more the pve or the gathering, this manner the ppl that want pvp only have to go to the maps that are in war or to the battlegrounds or the arenas, and the ppl that dont want pvp at this moment can have a safe zone to enjoy the game too, but is only my opinion.

It is the same system as L2
Love it!
Qué la casa de subasta venda objetos de las 2 facciones así la cantidad de objetos a poder encontrar el deseo aumenta
Without a doubt, AH is the best of the mmos and you will have little to innovate here. Now the question is
Should AH include the objects of both factions? Or would it be better to have a faction AH and a neutral one where both factions can put their items? (but without putting too much cost in the tax).
I think the stall sales system is very nice and beautiful but it is not efficient, I have to go through the 50 stalls to see what objects each one has and their price to see which is the most interesting. I waste a lot of time on this.
I think that an auction is much faster.
Although a personal store, with a system similar to that of housing, where you can decorate the store to your liking and expose the objects that you have made to sell them, it would be crazy!
Perhaps the best way for this to work would be to do an auction, find an object to buy it or make a TP to the player's personal store, to buy that object and see what more interesting things it can have. I think it would be something very interesting.
I would also like to add that the system of Star Wars Galaxies, the
store was set by buying a house and put an NPC in which you could sell
what you wanted, from outside you could put a sign indicating what you
were selling (armor, weapons, etc.).
Although I admit that I
like the idea, as Pau Barredo says above me, it is a real pain in the
ass to go looking store by store, so better without doubt, would be to
make an AH and not complicate much more in that.
There is no need to reinvent the wheel in all aspects of the game, sometimes it is better to leave what already works.
