I friendly disagree with the idea of having different races options inside the undeads and I do due two problems: the first and biggest problem is that this would take too much time and work to devs and in comparison with other races, undeads would like very superior compared with ofther races. How many ours of work would this take? three or four times the time taken for other races?more? I think this would be unfair and non-viable. The second problem in more abour the personality of the race because, undeads are not conceived as "everything that is dead and rised up again is an undead", but instead of it, they usually are conceived as a fallen civilization, servers of the darkness....and thats why I think they should be an unique model and based on humans. I really love the idea of that undeads are part of a fallen human kingdom and having that bond with their human past.
So, speaking about customization I only would like to have different body options of udead: maybe one more rotten with the bones and entrails in sight, one more like a vampire with the body less rotten...just different kind of putrefaction for your undead
I think it would be relatively easy because they wouldn't start from scratch, they could just take the human model and decrease the amount of mass and add bone and a different color to the skin.

Models of the various undead can also be used as corpses for in-game scenarios.

I disagree, the undead are the undead, they are beings or creatures that died and came back to life, and so in every fantasy story or game I've ever seen.
Of course the focus is usually more on humans, but I don't think it would be fair to anyone who would like to see the bearan or undead elves.
The undead models they create can be used in a variety of ways, such as monsters or as part of a dungeon setting.

I agree that it means a lot of work, like really a lot, already said it when I suggested all races Undead, but as Galius said, they are going to be corpses from all races that they can take to make the Undead models.
Actually I don't mind if the bones and flesh wounds are going to be the in the same zone for each race, if this can save time and work for the devs, maybe they can update this over the next years to game release.
About race personality I think Undead are going to have their own unique personality due to their curse, I proposed some symptoms and characteristics about the Undead on these posts https://www.scarsofhonor.com/community/post/4322/undead-25-available-classes , basing myself on the bit of Lore from the Undead description and also on Vampires, Werewolves, Zombies, etc.
And yes as Galius said, the focus is usually on Humans, what I really don't like because it has been over exploited to the point of being boring, at least for me, because, Why we can have Undead dragons but we can't have Undead Orcs or Bearan? They are weaker creatures.
Feel free to disagree, thanks for bringing your concerns!
