For mages who are going to use book orbs and relics it would be nice to see that they also use their bodies to summon magic, they can have rune tattoos on their bodies and as they level up the tattoo pattern changes and spreads most.
Hi team! I think a large staff with a stone/orb could be awesome!, maybe a book of spell as ofhand or something?
Marvelous community,
Let's get those precious minds to work and shape the best possible concepts for the classes.
So how will this work? We will ask you 5 questions (a question every day) about the class of the week. All your answers will be gathered and then evolved if needed, to create the best, and most fun to play class.
Let's talk about Weapons! How do you imagine your ultimate Mage Weapon? Staves? Swords imbued with magic? Books and relics? Bare hands maybe?
Unleash your imagination!

A mage is typical to go with his magic staff or magic wand, but I think that will also have to be distributed for those who want to play a mage in their own way, either with offensive or defensive books, magical orbs, after all everything can be distributed in a proper way as long as it is balanced.
yo a un mago lo veo con libros y esferas de cristal o báculos y bastones.
I like the DnD idea that Wizards can use other objects as Arcane Focus for spellcasting.
I like the way the Mages/Wizards can have the same power but having a different "style", just by changing the Arcane Focus, like Wizards with Staves, Wands, Orbs, Relics, etc... I believe that with Arcane Focus you have options for every Wizard style without too much balancing problem.
I prefer the old style Wizard with a two hand Staff but I also like the Idea that I can find a cool Orb or an old magic Relic that I could use as an Arcane Focus.
Just about books, Wizards don't really "use" a Spellbook to cast, is more to study (out of the battle) or casting some rituals. Well, it should be nice when you cast some spell with long casting time, like a portal, a summon, buff or any ritual style spell, an animation of the Wizzard using his spellbook, opening, reading and making some gesture. The kind of immersion that I never saw in an MMORPG.
(Yes, that's a Paladin, but you get the idea!)

However, each spell cast by a mage should have a different effect depending on the weapon he casts it on. It doesn't have to be something grand. But if you cast a fireball with a staff it's different from cast a fireball with a wand. There could be different passives for each type of spellcasting.
It would be interesting and make the gameplay more unique.
the weapons of the mage I have in mind: wand, one-handed or 2-handed sword, baton. BEST COMMUNITY IN THE WORLD MAN
