Buenas
Personally, I like the current map a lot in terms of terrain, I could ask for some changes, but in general I like it as it is.
What I don't like is that the factions are separated in their continents, for me, both factions should be present in both continents obviously, there is a predominant faction in one continent, but there should be more enemy presence.
In the end the opposing factions will always seek to expand their territories and there will be wars and they will not always win in their territory.
Also, as a player, it's great to have to go through areas where you can run into enemy players or even do missions where those enemies are, because everyone is in their own territory, everyone is happy to do their own thing and ignore everyone else.
The Dev Discussions are so great, the suggestions and ideas that come from them are awesome!
Let's make another one, this one is very important!
We are near the process of redesigning the layout of the World Map.
Do you prefer the layout of the map to stay the same? One big continent with different zones? Separate islands maybe?
We have some ideas, but let's see your perfect World Map layout!
I do not know if it would be better to have one or more continents, I think both have advantages and disadvantages; the thing is that in this aspect you, developers, could innovate and try to create something different (maybe three continents or something unique). The real problem I see in the current map is that it feels that there is not going to be real interaction between the factions, because we can see one continent for The Order and another one for The Domination. I think is better to mix the different faction areas or include more neutral areas to create more interaction. Now I do not feel factions could have in the lore a real ambition to conquest some areas in the other continent cause they feel so full by both factions; maybe these factions could control less areas and that a lot of areas of the map are neutral ones, in permanent conflict.
One idea I have, based on the game Warhammer total War, could be two different continents where the factions could fight each other, and also a great island in the middle, maybe with the high level zones, where this fight could be harder, with a great PVP, some systems which, controlling some areas in the map, could provide the controller faction, some buff or access to some villages where there are quests, sellers with special items...maybe access to some dungeon or raids that you could only do if your faction control that area....

My only thoughts on this are making sure maps can accommodate new zones.
If island hopping then it's very easy to add in new zones; you just add more islands ;)
If you have really big conjoined continents (like your current map) it never hurts to add some extra land that's reserved for future content. That way new zones don't just magically keep appearing around well known sailing routes :p
EDIT: @undol hey sorry didn't mean to quote your post ^^ can't change it

After we make it in a more presentable way, we will share it with you.
I can't wait to hear all of your thought after we announce it.
All I can say is, it's HUGE :)
