GENETIC EXPLANATION
WHY COULD ANY RACE BE ANY CLASS?
▶Genetics conditions what we are
capable of learning and how we can learn it. But the reverse process also
occurs, what we learn can eventually modify our genome or, at least, the way in
which this genome acts.
▶Our experiences can mark our genetic
material and that these marks can be transmitted to future generations. That
is, predispositions or tendencies for our genes to express themselves in a
certain way can be inherited.
▶While the presence or lack of
progress depends on your actions, its magnitude is not entirely within your
control. To some extent, your progress depends on your genetics.
▶We cannot ignore the fact that some
breeds have a genetic handicap. The good news is that, even with "bad
genes", everyone has the possibility of learning anything.
▶This is not an impediment, just a
disadvantage.
▶By practicing a skill, whether
physical or mental, your genetic is modified to make the process easier for
you.
▶How much and how fast? It is
impossible to know. But one thing is certain, you are not determined by your
genes.
▶A part of your results is determined by your race, but most by your actions. The good news is that everyone has the ability to improve their body and mind, if they so choose.
CONCLUSION
▶Preferences arise from a complex
combination of childhood experiences, social customs, and biological
mechanisms. We are not all cut from the same mold. Some like puppies, others
insects, others reptiles, etc. Some like to work with paper, others with fire,
others with bones and organs.
▶If in real life a person with
physical "bad genes" can achieve a giant and muscular body through exercise
and constant good nutrition. Why couldn't an Elf be a great Warrior?
▶If in real life a neurodivergent
person with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) (like me) or T.E.A.
he can learn about any subject and be a great professional through different uncommon study techniques and constant study. Why couldn't an Orc be a great
Mage?
▶If in real life, a person with
physical disabilities like speechlessness, hearing loss, or sight, can learn to
communicate and move through the world, why couldn't an Undead be a Paladin?
▶If things like this are possible in
the real world, they are a minority yes, they are extreme cases, no, I bet you
at least know or have heard of similar cases in your group of friends, family,
school, work or neighborhood.
▶In a fantasy universe where MAGIC
exists and all races have had access to it for periods of hundreds or thousands
of years, where ways are created to trap souls in gems or items, where you gain
power from armor, weapons and items that were imbued with
"intelligence" or "strength" for the wearer...
▶Why wouldn't there be at least 1 way
an Elf could be a Necromancer or a Witch?
▶Why wouldn't there be at least 1 way
an Orc could be a Wizard or a Druid?
▶Why wouldn't there be at least 1
single way that an Undead and a Infernal Demon could manipulate the forces of light
and nature to be Paladins and Druids?
