I will keep suggesting environment focused
racial skills, for me they are the harmless option for game balance.
Some ideas I think match the DWARVES:
= = = PASSIVE SKILLS = = =
▶Underground fighters: 5-10% XP from killing Boargen and Underground
Beasts (moles, spiders, worms, Giant rats, etc).(PvE and PvP)
▶Mining experts: 10-15% More ORE gathered.
▶Sons of the mountain: 5-10% EARTH or STONE damage
resistance.
You should include a decent amount of damage
types on all the game to keep racial skills like this one relevant, and not
overpower 1-2 races because most damage of the game is fire damage. You can
gave earth/stone/poison/etc damage to mobs' basic attacks depending on where
they live, maybe.
= = = ACTIVE SKILL = = = (When balance becomes
more difficult)
▶Mighty mountain: Improve your ARMOR with a DWARF
enchantment, BLOCKING the NEXT ATTACK incoming to you
and INCREASING your BASE armor in 5-10% for 5-10 seconds.
= = = RACIAL WORLD MECHANIC = = =
I'm suggesting an unique mechanic skill for
each race, like objects or obstacles that can only be interacted by 1 race.
▶Underground explorer: Can use TUNNELS too SMALL and
DANGEROUS for other races (like COLLAPSING mining tunnels) to
REACH other places. Also they can interact with ABANDONED TOOLS and TABLES to restore
5-10% of gear durability, can be used to restore FRIENDS' gear.
I will provide an example about this mechanic
later, like I did in other races posts, for PvE and for PvP.
