Hola, pienso que algo esencial para un asesino es la opción de cubrir su cabeza o rostro, pueden ser capuchas, cubrebocas, mascaras de cuero, etc. Junto con el usual abrigo largo o capa cubriendo sus prendas ajustadas al cuerpo. Todo esto no sé si sería mejor como equipamiento, cosmético, o incluso los dos. Pero la estética del asesino tiene mucho que ver con su "aura" de misterio donde no se sabe a ciencia cierta su identidad... aunque solo sea de fachada.
¿Y qué tal una quest para ser reconocido de principiante asesino a asesino aprendiz (como ejemplo) en el que una de las recompensas sea un símbolo de tu clase? Porque cuando piensas en un asesino ¿Qué apariencia se te viene a la mente? Y justo eso, es lo que el jugador querría para su personaje, no? (porque yo sí!)
Ahora con las monturas, no me parece apropiado que sean ligadas a una clase, en mi opinión creo que es mucho mejor dejar a los jugadores elegir el tipo de montura que más les convenga. Con eso en mente, pueden hacer que las monturas tengan sus propias estadísticas (como aguante, velocidad, fuerza, etc) Dejando al asesino tener que elegir una criatura no muy grande pero ágil y veloz, o lo que él quiera, igual para las otras clases.
Y finalmente una mascota! En este caso un amigo que le sirva para espiar, teniendo por ejemplo una habilidad para enviarlo a recorrer un radio de x metros y detectar a los IA pasivos o agresivos en su camino. Que mejor para eso que una rata, bueno, es mi humilde opinión.

With that in mind, they can make the mounts have their own stats (such as stamina, speed, strength, etc.) Leaving the assassin to choose a creature that is not very high but agile and fast, or whatever he wants, same for the others class.
