I imagine an assassin as a character who uses both daggers and swords and possibly axes, in short, a jack of all trades. But if we talk about edged weapons, then with the restriction that the weapon he carries can only cause cutting damage. It is also possible to use a propellant. Also, poison or oil can be applied to any weapon that can be set on fire. But if you set fire to a weapon, it loses its durability. Also, particularly sophisticated assassins can use gas cylinders, poisoning the air around them, (naturally, so that the assassin himself does not get poisoned, he must wear a gas mask, or at least with a thick rag on his face). In addition to setting fire to weapons, you can also set fire to enemies with oil, but perhaps this will conflict with the class of magicians (so the oil that is poured over enemies and weapons can be made a consumable and pouring enemies directly requires more oil). An assassin can also possibly use the landscape as a weapon (this probably can apply not only to assassins).
