The characters are not only getting a makeover but their animations are being upgraded as well.
The team is working hard on perfecting all of the animations for the races, for you to feel the weight of the huge Bearan or Orc or the gracious movement of the female Elves and Infernal Demons.
As you can see they now have an identity, facial expressions, and do not look like ordinary wax figures. They can talk, they can smirk, they can even wink and move their eyebrows, this completely changes how the models look and feel.
Absolutely fantastic work from our Animation team, thanks to them now we can add an infinite amount of emotes and expressions, to make you immerse even deeper in Scars of Honor.
Customization
Speaking of makeover, check out these new customization options for the Human race.
From ordinary hairstyles to funky beards and mustaches, everything is possible.
As you can see, the customization doesn’t end with the hairstyle, now we are able to have facial customization options as well. We are dedicated to giving you the option to create your character as you desire, to make it your own.
Undead
We like our Undead models very much, but we’ve always felt that something is missing.
After numerous long meetings and discussions, we’ve found our sweet spot.
Not only that we’ve decided to get away from the “Me Zombie…me want brains” theme, but we’ve made them even more superior and sophisticated looking, by adding ceramic prosthetics and masks in the baroque style.
Now they look like 17th-century upper-class aristocrats. With the help of masks and prosthetics, now the Undead can keep their neverending desire to pursue beauty, although their bodies are still rotting.
Creatures and Mounts
Not only have the playable characters been beautified. The mounts and creatures got an update too, and oh boy do they look completely different.
And to top it off, here is the reveal of the War Wolf Mount, for all those awesome people, that have bought and supported the project with an Honored license.
Mobile User Interface
Here is a never-before-seen treat for all those fingers-using, screen-smashing enthusiasts.
We present to you our take and the first version of the mobile UI for Scars of Honor.
As you know, our goal is to bring the PC experience to Mobile, and to do that we won’t be able to have a completely subtle and clutter-free UI, but we think that we are on a good path.
Keep in mind that things are subject to change, and we will be more than happy to know your thoughts about it.
The team also talked about why we are delaying the Q2 test for September, showed and explained the talent and skill system, as well as how item rarity and inventory will work.
The usual Q&A session took place at the end of the Live Update, and many more questions were answered directly from the Stream Chat.
Here is the full hour-and-a-half video for a more thorough look at all of the discussed topics.
