Hey There,
I have a few QoL suggestions:
- 1) Auto Run - This would be a huge help with the amount of back and forth running done in the game.
- 2) Selectable Quest Tracking - I noticed that when a quest is being tracked and has multiple locations, you are not able to click on the highlighted areas (if there are multiple) to change the guiding white arrow in the mini-map (towards a different location than is already pre-selected when the quest is picked up).
- 3) Quick Mount - Instead of having to hit "Shift+P", clicking on "Mount", then pressing "T" when near the summoned mount, it may be an improvement to be able just press "T" to summon the mount (and you already active on it) and then "T" again to de-spawn the mount (thus you being taken off of it). Or maybe create a new hotkey that can do this instead.
- 4) Customizable UI - While being able to control the opacity of the UI is awesome, being able to control the size of the UI elements as well as the location they are anchored could really improve the overall experience for those of us who like a customizable setup.
- 5) Separate Toggle For Own Nameplate - It would be cool if we were able to adjust nameplate size as well as turn off/on our own nameplates above our character's head. I know "V" toggles all nameplates.
- 6) Click-To-Move/Gather - Being able to click on a harvesting node near the character and the character auto-move to it to gather it (as long as it is within a certain range) would be especially helpful.
Sorry if anyone has already suggested any of these or if any of these ideas are already being implemented. I appreciate your time!
Hi, thank you for sharing your QoL suggestions for the game.
- Auto Run - I agree that this would be a useful feature to have, especially for long-distance travel. I think it would be nice to have a toggle button or a keybind to activate auto run, and then be able to use the mouse or the keyboard to steer the character. This would also free up the hands of the player for other tasks, such as chatting or browsing the inventory.
- Selectable Quest Tracking - This is also a good idea, as it would allow the player to choose which quest objective they want to focus on, and avoid confusion or unnecessary detours. I think it would be helpful to have a drop-down menu or a right-click option on the quest tracker to select the desired objective, and then have the white arrow point to that location on the mini-map.
- Quick Mount - This is another feature that would improve the convenience and efficiency of the game. I think it would be great to have a single keybind or a double-tap option to summon and mount the mount, and then use the same keybind or option to dismount and de-spawn the mount. This would save the time and hassle of opening the mount menu and clicking on the mount icon.
- Customizable UI - I agree that this would be a wonderful feature to have, as it would allow the player to personalize their game interface and optimize their game performance. I think it would be awesome to have a UI editor or a drag-and-drop system to resize, reposition, and adjust the opacity of the UI elements, such as the health bar, the skill bar, the chat box, the mini-map, etc. This would also enable the player to create different UI profiles for different situations, such as combat, exploration, crafting, etc.
- Separate Toggle For Own Nameplate - I think this is a reasonable suggestion, as it would give the player more control over their own nameplate visibility and appearance. I think it would be nice to have a separate option or a keybind to toggle on/off the own nameplate, and also to adjust its size and color. This would also help the player to identify themselves in a crowded area or a large group.
- Click-To-Move/Gather - I think this is a debatable suggestion, as it would depend on the preference and playstyle of the player. I think some players might enjoy the convenience and ease of clicking on a harvesting node and having the character automatically move to it and gather it, while others might prefer the manual and immersive approach of moving and gathering by themselves. I think it would be fair to have this feature as an optional setting that the player can enable or disable according to their liking.
