Hey there, pretty nice questions indeed.
1. We update regularly with the newest version of Unity, if Unity 2 (for example) comes, most likely we will transfer to that, but that only the developers of Unity know.
At the very beginning we talked about the two engines and we have things in mind for which Unity is the better approach, so no we won't be switching to Unreal.
2. We haven't discussed that, because the devs are focused in working on gameplay mechanics, rather graphics optimisations, but when we work on the optimisations we will explore all those options and decide if we can add them, will they be helpful to have, and etc.
3. It is quite early to talk about expansions, since the core came isn't ready, but yes we are planning to have expansions, most likely they won't be every year, but we will have them. Since "Scars of Honor" is a free-to-play game, the expansions will be free as well.
