Hello guys!
Have you ever thought what kind of Quest system you would like to see?
Share with us how do you imagine a different Quest system for our Game. What should be different to make you feel great completing quests?
Looking forward to see your amazing ideas and suggestions.
Well I really enjoy making hard quests and I don't mean hard cuz you have to kil 10k mobs and they take time I mean quests you have to involve brains in it, puzzle or gathering some kind of stuff, also I love making quests where I have to interact with the environment and with the npc's. Some kind of guidance to the place where the quest starts would be nice but not to all the things you need to gather only to the begining.
As for the mechanic of the quest system you can make more questgivers to be involved with one quest (complete this and this quest so you can complete this quest) , you can make quests which will take more time like you have to wait for a npc to come to town and assassinate it but it will come after 2-3 hours (real hours) or it comes with a ship the next day and you have to wait him 24 hours and kill him at the docks.
Something I absolutely loved in Guild Wars 2 were the story quests every 10 levels you get, these are special quests which follow your story (at the character creation you have some options to choose and create your character story and the quests are following that story) and the rewards are pretty nice. They also have cinematics in them the normal quests don't have.
I agree with Puffymuffinz that there should be some hard quests that will need to get your brain involved or require some skills to complete, but also these quests should come with tempting rewards. Also, I'd like to see quests that have another secret reward that will be barely mentioned by the questgiver like - Do this and you might get an additional reward. This can involve a side quest you should do or just to bring some extra if the quest require from you to gather something, but the reward should be secret so you can get tempted to do this quest even if the initial reward is, for example, some currency, experience or item similar to one of yours. Also if the character progress involves going through different zones, something that I've always wanted to see is some zone related quests that will reward you some unique for the zone reward that will not get irrelevant by the time you reach the next zone. This reward should be something that you can use later and to be like a memory from the experience you had in this zone. I think this will make players want to go through specific zone just to obtain this reward, even if they have the chance to skip that zone, as this is something that happens in most of the games once you have one character that is with near the endgame gear, as the players can either send gold or items to their newly created character.

Hello Petar,
the idea with the additional hidden reward is really nice I like it.
I think it will give good flavor to the game. This is the first idea which comes from the community which is going to be created ingame.
Kind regards,

The idea of reliving a good experience is really good. It could be put in side quests as well as in main/story line quests! Also the idea of a hidden rewards is cool but probably not to be put in hard quests but in easier ones because doing a hard side quest for a reward that you don't know what will be like you said it could be something absolutely useless (already obtained gear) seems like Devs troll š

I would like to see some world quests. For example if you are in the vicinity of a rare or elite mob you can get a quest pop up to kill it, but you will need for example 3 or more players to be able to kill it. I think this type of quests will be really beneficial to the community, because the players will have more reason to go and venture out into the world and imagine if they encounter players from the opposite faction and start fighting to earn the prize from killing the rare or elite mob. Also if a player is scavenging the woods for mats or resources for his profession and encounters a rare or elite that he has already taken down, he can even sell the location of the mob for about 1 gold and mark it on another party's map.

Also we need a good quest helper by good I mean not a buggy one. Also maybe we need mount quests for learning how to ride mounts and maybe other mount quests for different kind of mounts.

The mount system should be discussed in separate topic.
We are having some quite unique ideas there.

Will make such discussion soon for sure.

I am a huge fan of the public questing concept, being able to participate in events and quests with a group or solo. This is like hot sauce for questing.
Basically, I would implement a questing system that did not feel like questing. A system that felt more like "I should go over here because there is an event or battle going on" and "Oh wow I just got a lot of XP for saving that village from those waves of attackers". Public questing events that give XP basically.
