Hello all
I was thinking about a functionnality where the weather have an impact on both npc and player, like if it is raining by example any 'water element' npc would be buffed , or if it is sunny day then the same npc is weaker , coulb be similar for player by example to have s peed debuff if it is snowing or heavy raining, something like this

I am up for the NPC debuffs, but I don't think the player debuffs will be that beneficial since it will hinder both open world PvP mostly and open world PvE as well as questing.

well, in real life you dont decide whats the weather like, and if you find youself under a rain, you put appropriate cloth to keep going, maybe we could do similar things with accessories, depending of the weather
Not sure if this is a passive in WOW, but I remember from somewhere undead would gain damage bonus during night time.
As well as the possibility of certain mobs that only appear during certain types of weather? That would be neat, if not, maybe a visual change? For example: a little pig monster that during a normal sunny day is just the pig monster, but during the rain, it has a little umbrella hat on. :D It'd be cute.

The day when the (black dessert) was in the process of development, they promised the climatic changes and that they would influence the game, something that really excited me a lot, since they talked about for example when it comes to storming a castle (pvp) If you took advantage of a foggy day, an archer would not see you arrive, what a murderer would be the doom in that environment, just as they had planned to include a volcanic area, in which if you traveled with plates or metal armor you could suffer burns It was a shame to see that they finally did not implement it, eye I am normally a warrior, those effects would affect me directly, but it would be a realistic point that gives the game its adventure. I would give +1 to the idea of the climatic effects and zones with advantages and disadvantages.
So that it would not have so much effect, specialized equipment could be created so that the classes would not suffer so much and could continue to carry out their work.

Maybe it can be like a climate mobs collection or something (visuals, mounts, or anything.) Would make collectioners happy, give people something extra to spend time and doesnt affect the playing experience in too dramatic ways. It can also effect players or mobs powers in a fairly balanced +/- way of course.
I like this idea of the environment giving you buffs and de-buffs. People would have to plan accordingly with each days weather patterns lol.
I love the rain, why rainy weather would give me a debuff? :)
