Okay, the week of the Dwarves is here!
Let's start with the Environment & Architecture of the Dwarf race.
Deep caves, with carved structures in the walls? An inactive volcano, providing natural protection? Why not live in the open world, despite all stereotypes?
Let's see what you have in mind for the Dwarf race!
Certainly something made in the mountains or on the mountainside
Suggestion: a city where there are several metallurgies, this city is on the outskirts of a volcano, so the dwarves can use the heat from the volcano.
Greetings
For the Dwarves I prefer architecture based on stone and geometric shapes, preferably straight and avoiding circles and ellipses, either in fortresses excavated in the mountain or fortified cities in the open air, but always solid structures with strong defensive component.
See you
In the same vein as what Galius says about structures based on a mountain, but what if said mountain is the remains of a huge creature? a giant or epic monster.
For me, the most important thing for the dwarfs is the connection to stone and ores. As well as the stone carvings and giant statues.
I like the idea of a volcano being incorporated into a city.
Something like this, but a bit more industrial looking on the outside.
And for the outskirts something along these lines
As people binded to earth, I think there must be a lot of brilliant metal and gemstones covering their cities.

I support 100% the idea of straight shapes and avoiding circles and ellipses.
I would add that they should use a lot of metal, their cities can look like Metallurgic cities for main cities and maybe more "stone tunnels and mountain" for minor cities.
Dwarves should have lot of calluses over the body to make them more different of humans, calluses over the knees, the hands, the fists, that their body developed as a natural protection.
Maybe in the main city they have an enslaved Dragon or another new underground creature that spits fire, that they use in "The Main Forge". This can even work for some plots for the dwarves story, they can have a story with this race or creatures.
Plus, Dwarves can "write" their story on their caves, in the minor cities they are just paintings, but in main cities they can be "carved" in the metal walls.
