Where and how in your opinion, should the Bearans start their journey?
You wake up from a winter slumber just to find out that there is a massive war happening now? Maybe start off peacefully, while learning the basics? How about a Human helping you, and teaching you the Human ways?

-IN ENGLISH-
I think for the start area it could be a forest or some icy mountains, as they are a species of bear race, they could also be near some caves, since there they could have their homes or at least near these, since there they could hibernate or at least have a small nap xD
Any other site will also be fine :3
I think they should start in a tundra forest with snow!
I like this idia very much because i think that feats very well in the story and the visual of the bearans!

Bearan Starting Zone
▶Tundra Forest
for sure. A Bearan taking the trial for their adulthood :)
▶Different
starting areas for each class, all inside the starting map of the respective
race.
▶Younger Bearan
prepare their selves most part of their childhood and youth years, for the
"Great Hibernation" trial, where your skills will be evaluated, and
you will find what will be your role in Bearan society.
▶Most part of
the year they have to eat and train for the winter hibernation.
▶The "Great
Hibernation" trial, are 3 trials where Bearan have to test their body,
mind and spirit to prove they are useful adults for their clans.
▶Your clan is
chosen once you pass the trial, before it, all young Bearan are under the care
of the "Cub Mothers" where all have to prepare for the trial.
▶Once they reach
certain level of skill or age, they travel to the "Tundra Forest of
Death" zone or something, leaded by the "Cub high mother" where
they are left alone in the forest.
▶Body trial: They have to survive and fight their way to
find "The Dreaming Cave" in the heart of the tundra.
▶Mind trial: Once they find the entrance to "The
Dreaming Cave" they have to prove they are worthy, they have to solve 3
puzzles and riddles that 3 spirits of the forest will gave them.
▶Spirit trial: Once they enter "The Dreaming Cave"
they have to drink a special beverage that will make them fall asleep, in the
cold, cold ice, they are under the "Hibernation" spell that will make
them enter the Bearans' spiritual realm where they have to pass the trials of
their ancestors while their body has to resist the harsh environment of the
cave.
▶They become
stronger, wiser and more resistant, once they pass the trial. Also they don't
have to hibernate more, now they "Hibernate" everytime they sleep.
Bearan Lore.
Now…
▶Feel free to
disagree, but that's the part I really don't like about the actual lore. It
just sounds too childish, I'm sorry. I know that maybe a lot of people won't
like my comments about complex lore.
▶Historically,
most of the first contact between 2 civilizations ends up in conflict.
▶In my opinion,
all races should have some minor/medium conflicts between them before creating
the 2 alliances (SO & DOM). Dwarves vs Humans, Elves vs Bearan,
Bearan vs Humans, etc.
▶They shouldn't
be friends since the start.
▶Sacred Order
shouldn't be the Humans discovering and adopting pets over the world (Elves,
Dwarves and Bearans)
▶Domination
shouldn't be the Orcs recruiting people to join their football team. (Infernal
Demons, Undead and Boargen).
▶In the lore you
can create a previous big conflict that made them put their differences aside
to fight together, to create the Domination and the Sacred Order.
▶After a big
conflict ends, another starts, the “discussion”(war) for the distribution of the lands, here is where the game can take place, Sacred Order
and Domination fighting for power and territory.
▶I don't like
that part of the lore, I'm sorry. Don't make Bearan the humans' pets,
please. They are my favorite race, I don't want them to be overpowered, but treat all races with dignity, make them grow through difficulties, make the races something what players can relate to.
▶You are making Humans
look like all reasonable, pure and saint heroes, being followed by their
sanctity and all greatness, like deities.
▶Make the Bearan
proud, strong and wise warriors that don't talk to those they think aren't
worthy, instead of "Bearan learned to talk because of Humans".
▶Make Humans to
earn the right to communicate with Bearans by proving their strength, strong
spirit and intelligence or something, not taming the Bearan with food.
▶Make Bearan a
territorial race that don't think twice to protect their lands and nature.
▶Please, don't
make them the pets of the Humans.
▶Thanks for reading. These are just suggestions, at the end of the day.

I agree with them starting of in the tundra zone, however I would recommend that they be a very proud species. According to the lore it was just the one king that convinced them to join the sacred order and I believe you should make them a proud and relatively isolated race with them only allowing the strong. It would give them this honor culture and would fit in with the order. They have their own code and only trust those that have earned their respect. Maybe make it so that they dont particularly like the elves and only ally with them because they really hate the undead. I believe that their should be some minor conflict within the order

Maybe a valley forest surrounded by snowy/rocky/icy mountains with some caves. I think being one of the harder starting zones to get to or more closed off would thematically go along with 'hibernation.'
