The future of the gaming market is to reward its players and have a whole economic system around it. This game is very beautiful, has potential and the RPG market is ''scarce''. Why not make it a play to earn and boost your popularity?
If the developers work the economy correctly and don't make it like the other games that the NFT market had.. Implementing burn, token spending, function to the dolls and items, not becoming a pay to win game and among other systems both burning and reward, it will be a success (in short).
My intention is just to know if he will have the system or give this idea to the developers, I would like this game in that style. And I would also like to know the opinion of the community. I'm open to community opinions and if any moderator or developer wants to talk more about it, I'm available.

This is a nice topic to discuss, and I'm eager to see what the community thinks about that 🤔

Hello Gabriel,
thank you for sharing your idea with us.
We are already discussing such approach, but this is really complicated. We have to took extra care of how we will design the system and the economy around it.
It can be heavy booster or a killer for the project.
Let's bring the discussion to the community and let's see what everyone thinks on that matter.
Kind regards,
Armegon.
Blizzard and other companies already tried it and asked about it, and it seems that community is not interested at all, there are several surveys here and there that show this.
Personally I've been in crypto stuff since 2011 but I don't trust NFT market.
We gaming community are difficult to handle, so it can be a killer to the game, the question is:
Is worth the risk of killing the project?
My answer: No.

It’s very complicated, there are games that have implemented those things but because they have a market or store where they can move, for example, Counter Strike GO allows you to earn money with their skins, that’s because of the market of the Steam store itself, I think this could be considered if at some point SOH ends up on Steam or creates its own market.
Also, it is a game that is going to be free to play, it would make more sense to reward your players if the game were paid out.
Just no.
Putting any kind of monetary connection between the real world and a video game is just a bad decision.
In the worst case we have an Pay to Win game, in the best scenario we have another Team Fortress 2, where people created lobbys just to afk and farm hats to sell.
Video games are made to get you out of reality. I don't want to play a game and have been constantly reminded that i can get something out of it. I'm doing this for fun, not for work.
I don't want to play a game so maybe i can get a small job out of it.
In my opinion, people who support Crypto, NFTs or anything related, they are not worring about the health of the game, but just a way to make a quick profit on top of other people innocence.

The Fact that this development team even remotely considered this idea instead of OUTRIGHT rejecting it makes me HIGHLY doubt the veracity of your claims of wanting to make a "community friendly" game with no "P2W" and only "Cosmetics" in your cash shop.
Any company considering going NFT for even a second doesn't understand the MMO genre or community and I suddenly regret supporting this project.
I hope this accurately portrays my absolute disgust with the concept of NFT's...and anyone on this development team entertaining the idea.

Well that is a bit harsh if I can be honest here. Every company looks through the options of monetization in general and discusses them in order to see which path should they go.
NFTs came to the gaming world fast, and they came mainly with the idea to scam people, which led to the huge backfire.
I have watched many videos from Kira, Callum, Josh Strife, and many other, and I do think that NFTs can be utilized without breaking the game.
At this moment, no NFT talks are being made, so no worries about that.
We want to and will continue to discuss all kind of opportunities, that doesn't mean that something this important will be implemented without discussing it with our community.
The game will be free-to-play and no pay-to-win stuff will be sold in the shops, that is 100% guaranteed!

I don't pull punches when it comes to predatory monetization...and never will. The current monetization models used by almost EVERY MMO in existence disgusts me to the core. I have ZERO problem with companies making TONS of money. By all means, make a GREAT game...earn tons of money. Don't do it by ripping off you customers. NFT is the bottom feeder monetization scam of all monetization scams.
