We know that Mondays are tough, but when you think about how to make a game better, the transition from the weekend is easier.
For this Dev Discussion, we ask about your thoughts on "Mentoring"
We are sure that you remember your first steppes into a new game world, all those buttons and people running around, so much stuff is happening every second.
So to make that new player experience better and more fun, we are thinking about people having the option to be Mentors.
Grab a newbie and teach him/her the basics. Maybe teach more advanced stuff? You can even find your new friend, who knows.
And the best part is that you can both earn sweet rewards for that journey.

- Should not only depend on quantific things such as completing x- quests or helping to reach x level. Maybe some sort of special designed dungeon can be open for a duo of high and low level, or some visual/video materials can be prepared in forums, or maybe ( a bit extreme?) some video material can only be reachable in game for apprentices. With some sort of voting it can be evaluated.
- There should be unique rewards which will attract both players for it
- A bullettin or etc. may be available for who seek master's or apprentices
- It should not be spammable and open to exploit for people with alts.
-People who are genuinely help in a significant frequency should be honored with a title or etc.

ENGLISH:
I'm fine with it, as long as it's not mandatory to have a mentor. There are games that force you to have a mentor even if you don't want it, that's why I think it should be optional.
This would make it easier for casual players and newbies, as it reduces the likelihood of high level players harassing low level players or beginners.
NOTE: something I really don't want in the game is a voice chat, we don't all want to have to buy a mic or listen to a stranger's voice in the game.

English translation:
I think it is a good way to spread the knowledge to new players. An MMO is not something that is easy to fully understand and I think that a well-made mentoring system would not only connect new players with veterans, but would also allow veteran players to do good for the community even after they have completed the entire game. Giving something to do with all the accomulated knowlage.
The most difficult thing would be to make a good reward system. In my opinion, it would not give increased experience, because this would generate a contrary effect skipping content, leveling zones, quest, etc... , but would provide tools to make leveling more enjoyable, such as potions of life, speed, basic equipment, and cosmetics (What is can achieve both by teaching and being taught in the mentoring system).
I fully agree with the previous comments that it should not be an abusable or highly repeatable system, because here the quality of teaching should be prioritized instead of the amount of mentoring sessions done by the players.

I totally agree with you, maybe could give some achievement or some titles, some exp bonus or something not so broken to avoid expert guys take advantage and use newcomers for your own benefit instead of share knowledge.
