Hi, one of the coolest things i saw in mmorpgs that have a so distinguish class system is the use of unique habilities which are completely useless in combat but usefull out of it.
Let me try to explain myself: if im a warrior for example i could try to threaten an npc to have a different outcome in a quest/dialogue, a mage could may be able to teleport to different places or move big objects out of the way, a ranger may track npcs/players or see things others cant, a necromancer could open "gates" for other players to go through. This kind of stuff that give every class uniqueness in utility.
In my opinion as many of this abilities the better, they could be use to look for different combinations of groups according to them. Maybe you want to go back somewhere you've already been cause you saw an assasin in your way and it could help you to reach that place you couldnt before.
They can be also just for fun :)

HELLO, i think it could work but only if it has little to no impact in combat (PVP) so one doen´t overpower the others.
Also following that mind set, i´ll like to see class specific racials, something more stetic maybe for "rpg" reasons.
