Good luck and have fun watching!
1. What do you think of RMT? Are there any restrictions or do you generally prohibit offering various services for money? What exactly do you do about it?
There will always be ways to offer these services, be it via a temporary link or Discord server, unfortunately it can't be banned completely. What would be your approach?
2. What do you think of the idea that if the queue gets too long and no players register, the system suggests looking for companions. In other words, NPCs with whom you can then run the dungeon. This is of course not an alternative in the long term, but it's a nice way to prevent players from getting frustrated
3. Will there be statistics that make it possible to track a player to see: How well he plays, does he play mechanics cleanly, how much damage he does or how much you have already played the content. If so, how do you plan to do it?
In another well-known MMORPG, for example, there is Raider.io, which doesn't actually say much about the player. But you can see his Score.
There are also logs where you can find out more about the player.
4. Are you for or against boosting against in-game currency? If so, how do you want to handle it so that it doesn't degenerate like in other MMORPG's with the constant spam in the chat?
One suggestion would be, for example, that only guilds with X number of members should be allowed to boost. And the system then specifies what the buyer has to pay. Or the better option, a loyalty system. The buyer pays nothing, but there are special orders that you can accept to boost a random player who is a family man and doesn't have that much time or simply doesn't play well enough to achieve something. And the buyer or the person who placed the order can still leave a little pocket money with the boosters after the run.
5. How do you proceed when one faction is clearly dominant in order to rebalance the whole thing?
Will you then take the step of making cross-faction content playable or perhaps create a third neutral faction opposite the two factions so that you can play every race in the faction?
6. The servers will be international, so you will still have channels in your own language, for example: Channel 1: General English
Channel 2: German
Channel 3: French
Channel 4: Spanish
Etc
It gives players a better gaming experience if they can search for players in their own language. Many players especially in the German area avoid games where English is the main language.
7. Do you plan the raids for the long term or can you clear the raid on the same day as in the modern MMORPGS currently on the market?
8. For the raid and the dungeons, there will be an "add-on" from the system that allows players to have an overview of the field. For example, an area that needs to be socked and the system tells you that it needs to be socked in X seconds?
Or are you planning for the players to have to deal with the mechanics themselves and find out what to do? For example, where you get hints from wall drawings about what the boss can do and how you can possibly counter it.
Will there be a book where you can read up on the abilities of the bosses? Or will this be omitted so that the players can actively communicate with each other again and discuss tactics?
9. Can you say anything about the endgame yet?
How will the dungeons and raids be? How challenging will they be?
Is there a good balance between progress and casual players?
That would be important to know so that you can plan your guild in a structured way. Otherwise you would have to exclude various players from the outset, which would be a shame because other MMORPGs, for example, have a very strong learning curve and you often have to exclude casual players. WoW, for example.
10. Will there be a social score system? For example, if players behave fairly and are friendly or are simply good, that you can rate them according to performance?
That would promote a friendly community.
11. Will there ever be content in SoH where you have to beat a timer? For example, clearing dungeons or raids in a certain amount of time?
12. Thanks to the whole team for working on the game with so much love <3 #Bestcommunityintheworldman
I am also very interested in finding out the answer to this question added by Kashjir:
2. What do you think of the idea that if the queue gets too long and no players register, the system suggests looking for companions. In other words, NPCs with whom you can then run the dungeon. It happens to me in other MMOs to wait in battlegrounds que over 45 minutes even, also can wait up to 20 minutes for dungeons - specially if I am a DPS spec and we need healer and tank.
I know that you said ''we will make sure that almost everything you do in game requires to be done with other players'', but it's sometimes infurating to wait a lot for randoms to join or even guild members when they're online, to depend on them to do content and we need to have the option to do it solo with NPCs. It will help the game and give players the opportunity to explore everything. Of course the npcs should be like begginner level type of players - die as well and not be too smart to stay out of the fire all the time, but also be able to heal a bit and stay alive at most times - they shouldn't be intermediate level. They should feel just the small help you're required to have to complete a dungeon. And it should mostly be able to fill parties,or even have the option to play only with npcs if no other players are available. Like if you're 3 and need 5 in total, two npcs can be added. In battlegrounds the same- to even out the players beause on some servers for sure there will be more Domination players in ques than Sacred Order ones and vice-versa.
When is the items from kickstarter going up. I understand that some resources of it is going to go up really soon. Is there a set time when the items from there is able to be purchased?
1. Are you making any changes to the undead models as well ? I think you guys have to be a bit more brave with your creativity, we all know you can do it, as you did with other models.
2. Can we please have two spellbars on the pc version ? I like to organize some of my spells with keybinds, also don't want them to look all clamped together on one bar.
3. Q2 is almost over, where test ? :P
4. What is the status of battlegrounds ? (of course I had to ask this one)
5. Will assasins be able to stay in stealth permanently, until they turn it off ?
6. How will the building system work ? Will there be entire places in game for players to create together their own towns from scratch until they hit a certain limit of buildings ?
7. What features and classes are each of you most excited about ?
Hi it's me again hahaha
Estimados desarrolladores,
¡Gracias!
