(sent this on discord few days back, forgot to add it onto here and didn't want to have it get fully lost. Discussion-Topic was about a Mount for Bearans) As I was unable to find some Lore-Details about why the Gronthar joined the Domination, the Bearans kinda being the "opposite-sided giant"-Race and the talk came up about possible Mounts for Bearans (on Discord) I had the following idea for some Lore (either for direct game-lore or maybe some "Quest/Raid"-Lore (and some race-specific Mount for those two Races): Considering both are, well, Animals (one way or the other) I wondered as to why not have those 2 Races be century-long rivals that hate each other due to many different "in-the-past" events. They both seem to have a "primitive" past where neither was able to speak, "think" and so on. Thus they could easily live "Side by Side" as both animals are "Forest-inhabitants". One day the Gronthar (as stated in their lore) they woke up with wits, wisdom and memories. Maybe also bad memories of a long-lost past where the Human race abused the Gronthar as a Food-Source and, considering their size, as transport-animals for heavy resources (considering that they are pigs/boars, somewhat) while leaving alone the Bearans. That lead them to hate the human race and later on, due to the Bearans joining the Sacred Order, them also hating the Bearans. They started to fight off every Bearan they saw, or took them as Prisoners, the big Ones even as Mounts. (Race-Mount for Gronthar: Big Bears in different colors, maybe even with Armor) The Bearans then got help by their Allies, the Sacred Order. Fighting back the Gronthar and taking Prisoners. (Here same thing possible with some specifically big Gronthars ending as Mounts for the Bearans: Big Pigs/Boars in different colors, with and/or without Tusks) The Gronthars fled, trying to find Allies themselves, which then led them to join the Domination. (Not a Story-Writer, just a weirdo with unusual ideas ^^' )
