I would like to discuss the upcoming loot system. What do you want to see? Group loot or personal loots?
Kind regards,
Astinos
I pretty much think that those endgame and super rear items should be group looted. This way the game will be a bit harder.
So about the loot system , I would like to see group loot but class specific, what do I mean class specific is that if the item dropped by the boss is for Paladin only the paladins in the party can roll for it. If it is a back item , bag or mount everyone can roll it but for the class specific items only classes to roll.
Also if we have world bosses you can make a system that counts every players damage made to the boss and the first 3-5-10 players to have loot, that way you will prevent the ranged classes to hit the boss first from far away and to get the loot for themselves. Or you can make a chest that everyone opens and gets random loot from it like the Guild Wars 2 system for world bosses.
Another thing that for me is useful and made in Black Desert is that your pets give you some minor stat boosts and with pets you can activate automatic loot thats for the open world and leveling process that way they loot the corpses for you which is cool cuz you don't have to single loot every corps and sometimes forget to loot if they are too many.
And last but not least it's better to make loot stackable when you wipe a big group of monster to click on one of them and to see the loot from every other killed monster from the group.
I would like to see a personal loot system for items such as gear and weapons, but for cosmetic items such as cosmetics, mats, mounts and consumables I would like it if there was a roll system so everyone can have a chance of acquiring them if they drop. I think this method will be the most fair for everyone, because if you mitigate the chance of people ninja looting your gear with personal loot for the weapons and armor and implement a roll system for the items everyone can use it will be really good for the community as a whole.

I have played like 20 or more MMORPGs and I like the Elder Scrolls Online loot system the most. When you defeat a dungeon boss everyone gets personal loot which is tradeable between group members for the next 2hrs. This makes getting gear fast but in ESO's case there are too much sets and items to achieve so it doesn't feel easy at all. It works there because every class has huge amount of build possibilities. But if your class system is more like WoW (lesser builds per character) then personal looting with trading between group members might make gearing too fast and easy. In that case personal looting + bind on pickup might be better.
I forgot about the old Lineage 2's loot system - no BoP items and almost everything is craftable. If you're not lucky enough to get it from drop, you might at least craft it with materials you get from the same mobs (higher drop chance on material/recipe drops). Oh man, I'd love to see such loot system in a non-asian mmorpg game. Forget what I said about ESO's loot system, I prefer this :D

Hello Gipo,
nice to see you around!
Your proposal about material/recipe drops sounds very interesting to me. This is a nice idea. Let's see what others will say about thank.
Hope to see more of you around!

Armegon.
Also about the looting it's not said to be that you have to click to loot a monster/boss items could just pop-up right after killing the exact monster/boss and be auto looted which can be later specified with an in-game option menu what items to auto loot what items to dismantle if there would be such an option. Of course that works only for the personal loot system. But I am with all my hands up for some auto loot system because I am kinda bored while I have to click on every monster that I kill to manually loot it.
