The Boargen may be huge and quite irritable but they also have Values & Beliefs.
Do they believe only in solving everything by force? Maybe believe that they are the most superior race? Do they value something else than their loot?
What do you think should the Values & Beliefs of the Boargen race be?
hi boars are quite. specially when they are full,.they are generous..
and contented...
I think if boargen are hungry they should have something like a rage factor or a boost to attack but maybe slowly lose health as a negative side effect.

Beliefs: everything can be food. Even themselves.
they have a family ties..and aloof , coz once you tried to traitor them, thier trust is difficult for them..
BOARGEN
▶Damn, this was
a hard week, lot of work. This time I wrote this in Spanish and just translated
it to English with a translator, I hope everything was translated correctly. I
will check it tomorrow, I must sleep, I would like to have more time to write.
▶It seems that
the idea you have about the Boargen is that of a primitive, warlike, primitive
thinking race. I honestly wouldn't have a problem with this, if they were not
in the same faction as the Orcs. And having several war driven races already.
▶My suggestion
for the Boargen is based on the idea of differentiating them from the Orcs in
several ways, since both races are of the Dominion, is for them to be primarily
a peaceful race.
▶As I recall
from the Minotaur lore, the Minotaurs were to be a peaceful race, I find it
also interesting to see the Boargen as a peaceful race. I don't know if the
developers plan to include minotaurs in future expansions, I'm guessing not,
that's why I'm leaning towards a peaceful Boargen instead of another
warmongering race.
▶Please read to
the end, my intention is not to suggest soft Boargen, just because they are
pacifists does not mean they are not fierce and good fighters. BTW, after I wrote this I will change some things of my others Boargen's lore posts.
▶To create this
concept of the Boargen I based it on the physical and spiritual characteristics
attributed to Pigs and Boars in various cultures, such as Asian and
Indo-American cultures.
▶These animals
are generally attributed the following characteristics, intelligence, empathy,
selflessness, gluttony, fertility, generosity, resilience, kindness and
passivity as they are not natural predators.
▶As I always
say, these are just suggestions, whoever reads feel free to disagree with a
little or a lot of what I say.
Beliefs
▶Boargen
philosophy focuses on the balance of opposites, male and female, calm and
chaos, day and night.
▶The Boargen see
balance, as giving something in return as long as something is taken. Their
faith in many ways mirrors the beliefs of the Bearan and Orcs. Many Boargen
follow the path of Druidism as a way of life, worshipping Mother Earth. Their
stories speak of the creation of the Boargen by Mother Earth.
▶They also
follow another philosophy; they are a society that lives in the present and
accepts the flow of life, they give importance to problems only when they reach
them, they try to live without worries. This simple and uncomplicated thinking
guides their day to day lives and has had both good and bad consequences in
their history.
▶If the Boargen
undertake a task and fail, they simply look at what they did wrong and try
again. There is no time for reprimands for mistakes, they simply understand
that they chose the wrong paths to achieve their goal and set out to do better
next time. Their philosophy seems simple, but the Boargen apply it to every
aspect of their lives, from eating, to fighting, to adventuring.
▶Because of
their beliefs in giving whenever something is taken, their rituals are simple
and commonly consist of representative "sacrifices" to the spirits of
the land, which rarely include sacrifices of other creatures, most often merely
representative offerings of labor or blood.
Values
▶Do not be
fooled by their large size and brute strength. The Boargen are a peaceful race,
and their society is based on a tribal structure that seeks tranquility.
However, when they engage in combat, the Boargen are ruthless with their
enemies.
▶Boargen are a
kind and generous race with strangers, they like to interact with other races
to discover new things and nurture their culture. They are also fun-loving and
have a great sense of humor.
▶Boargen are
calm and friendly, they extend a hand of friendship to a stranger on the road,
but if the stranger is hostile, the hand of friendship quickly turns into a
swift and strong lunge.
▶Boargen are not
easily angered. They only engage in combat, if necessary, at which point they
demonstrate that their size and strength is to be feared. Their mettle,
however, is threatened by the negative feelings, prejudice and racism that
other races hold against them.
▶The other races
harbor certain prejudices against the Boargen because of their appearance. They
are often seen as dirty, primitive and marginal beggars by other races,
although the Boargen have rarely done anything like that, as their society
rejects begging, they always try to give something in return, even if it is not
material, knowledge or labor, for example. The nomadic Boargen have their own
cultural values, art, music, oral tradition and a natural sense for the
protection of nature.
▶When a Boargen
has an object, he does not need, he places it in a public place in his caravans
(similar to a market). All objects are stored and if someone needs it, they can
pick it up whenever they want and can leave something they feel equals the
value of the object in return.
▶However, food
and medicine are handled more strictly, due to devastating events in their
past. Food is kept in a central warehouse and is carefully distributed to
individuals in the clan and to strangers in need.
Society and Culture
▶The Boargen are
a nomadic race, although they were not always so. As one of the daughter races
of Aragon, the Boargen have a strong connection to nature. They wander in
caravans through various areas of Aragon guided by the spirits of mother earth
and the temples they erect in honor of them in the places they pass through.
▶The Boargen
survive by wandering in the "Nomadic Passel" (Passel is the name
given to nomadic groups of wild boars and wild pigs), made up of a huge group
of smaller caravans of the different Boargen tribes, which travel as a single
large caravan.
▶Each Passel is
led by a "Captain" who is chosen by the leaders of each tribe in the
"Nomad Passel". The "Captain" has the final say in the
decisions of the "Nomad Passel” but must consult with the council which is
made up of the leading couples of each Boargen tribe. It is generally the captain
who says where to go, where to settle and when to leave.
▶Accustomed to
living in the hostile, the nomads take care of the nature they know they might
need in the near future and which they know very well. Threats to the
environment usually come from sedentary races. Although writing is not their
characteristic, the nomadic Boargen have a strong sense of oral tradition, and
hence storytelling occupies a central place in their lives.
▶The Boargen
tribes have a structured hierarchy in which positions of power are reserved for
the Boargen who have contributed the most to the tribe or for those who have
made the most valuable contributions to the tribe. The Boargen believe that to
obtain knowledge or resources of high value requires a great deal of skill and
preparation.
▶Each tribe is
led by a Boargen couple, the male who is usually in charge of organizing
material matters and the female who is usually in charge of spiritual matters,
although it is not uncommon to see the roles swapped.
▶The weight of
the word of each tribe in the council depends on the value and quantity of
their contributions to the "Nomad Passel". They consider that the
more a tribe or individual contributes, the more they care about the welfare of
the entire "Nomad Passel" and the more weight their word should
carry.
▶The tusks of
the Boargen begin to grow from birth and are engraved with the name of their
tribe, which most of them carry with pride.
▶The young Boargen go on pilgrimage, leaving the "Nomad Passel". These lone Boargen travelers often seek out new species wherever they may be, with the intention of learning about other cultures, to search for resources, information or anything that will be useful to the rest of the "Nomad Passel". Once something worthwhile is found, it is offered as a gift of their return to the leaders of the tribe the Boargen wants to join.
▶I would like to say that this pilgrimage I suggest here, would be an excellent starting point for players that choose Boargen. Imagine being a Boargen preparing to leave and adventure to the world.
▶Before leaving,
all young Boargen get martial and magical training, as well as other knowledge
to be able to defend themselves in a racist and warring Aragon. The tribe the
Boargen was born into may not be the same tribe the Boargen wants to join.
Different tribes specialize in different things.
▶Due to the
constant enrichment of their culture with other cultures the Boargen master an
extensive number of languages of Aragon. The fact that the nomadic Boargen are
said to move from place to place does not mean that they do not consider a
certain region as their own. Nomadic Boargen tend to return to the same places.
Conflicts sometimes arise between the sedentary races of Aragon and the nomadic
Boargen, leading to disputes over territorial control and management.
A short tale of the Boargen.
▶There are no
written records of the history of the Boargen before they arrived in the
"Scars of Honor playable zones". However, they say that they were
exiled from their homeland by a ruthless race of terrifying looking humanoids
who persecuted and enslaved them for being different, "primitive beings
that must be saved", they said, and despite their efforts to defend themselves,
they were driven to the brink of extinction. The survivors of the tribes banded
together and escaped to the ocean aimlessly, thinking they would die wandering
the ocean, until they reached the "playable zones of Scars of Honor".
▶The Boargen
tell that the few resources they had been able to take with them had run out,
they had been drifting for days, starving, with no trace of land in sight,
thinking they would die of starvation... when out of nowhere, a storm began to
brew and whipped the ocean for days. The Boargen watched as ships sank and were
torn apart by the ocean in seconds, others were lost on the horizon as they
drifted away behind the lightning.
▶The few Boargen
tribes that had survived the storm awoke in unknown lands and attempted to regroup under the command of Akram Stonetusk. The Boargen had extensive knowledge in druidism and geomancy, which they used
to guide themselves and survive in these new unknown lands, trying to rebuild
their culture and preserve their knowledge.
▶During their
first travels the Boargen met the Bearan who allowed them to stay temporarily
in their lands as they respected and revered Mother Earth. In their travels, they also met Humans
and Elves who looked at them with contempt and disdain, not taking them into
account as they were not an aggressive race.
▶Contact with
the Dwarves at first was quiet and without much interaction, until the Dwarves
discovered that the Boargen could detect smells of anything even up to 10
meters underground. This discovery generated paranoia in the Dwarves, who
thought that the Boargen wanted to steal their riches, others thought of
enslaving them to use them to find more precious metals. The Dwarves began to
attack and persecute the Boargen, kidnapping and killing their progeny.
▶Taken by
surprise, traumatized and fearful of suffering the same fate as in their
homeland, the Boargen, still recovering and depleted, began to move away from
dwarven lands without hesitation. But the paranoid Dwarves continued to launch
attacks and persecutions upon them. The Boargen did not hesitate to use their
strength, size and knowledge to defend themselves from the very beginning, only
to be overwhelmed by the quality and strength of the Dwarven weaponry.
▶In their
attempt to get as far away from the Dwarves as possible, the Boargen arrived in
Orc lands. In their passage through Bearan lands, the Boargen had heard great
stories of Orc strength and combat prowess. The Boargen, weary of battle and
long traveling, came in peace and asked for their help in rebuilding their culture
and defending themselves against the Dwarves, offering in return their strength
and knowledge gathered from the races of Aragon. The Boargen were already aware
of the conflicts that had been brewing and that was valuable information.
▶The Great Chief
Inngrim was no fool, he didn't trust the Boargen at first, he already heard some stories about the wandering race. In grim asked the Boargen to prove their worth in combat and asked the Great
Chief Akram Stonetusk to choose 5 of his best Boargen warriors to fight against
5 of his best Orc warriors in an unarmed hand-to-hand combat where the first to
be knocked unconscious was disqualified. Everyone was surprised when the Great
Chief Akram Stonetusk offered Inngrim that the fight would be just between the
two of them, which Inngrim could not refuse. Inngrim offered shelter and food
to the Boargen for such an event.
▶The drums were
beating, the coliseum was packed, the Orc and Boargen leaders of all the clans
were there, the beer was there, the sky was completely clear, the sun was in
the west, and both Chiefs were in the center of the coliseum without armor or
weapons, only their fists to fight and defend themselves. The great horn
sounded three times announcing that the combat was about to begin, everyone
kept silent.
▶A lightning
invoked by the Great Orc Witch illuminated the coliseum and announced the
beginning of the combat. Both Chiefs charged at each other head-on, ending in a
clash of pure brute force. Cries of excitement filled the air.
▶The two
intertwined hands struggled not to yield to each other. Akram, determined to
show what his people were worth and to restore his people, removed all doubt
from his mind and used all his strength.
▶Inngrim
impressed and seeing himself overpowered by the Boargen's pushing force,
decided to use that strength to lift him up and slam him to the ground in a
single move.
▶The Boargen got
up faster than the Orc expected, Akram grabbed Inngrim by the legs and slammed
him against the walls of the coliseum, while strangling his back with both
arms.
▶After a few
seconds Inngrim managed to free himself by headbutting the Boargen who was
surprised and stunned by the force of the blow. Both charged at each other again
and ended up rolling on the ground in a fight of DOMINATION.
It was a wrestling spectacle.
▶Tired from
fighting for several minutes both High Chiefs broke off to catch their breath,
only to charge at each other again.
▶This time the
right fists clashed, Inngrim's left fist was faster than Akram's, impacting
below the jaw, followed by a right hook to the head and a left hook to the ribs
that sent Akram back to the edge of the coliseum.
▶The Orc ran
towards the Boargen, but the boarman used the wall to propel himself and return
the Orc's earlier headbutt.
▶The headbutt
threw him and stunned him for a few seconds. Akram took the opportunity to
punish the Orc with a barrage of blows to the head.
▶ Inngrim broke
free and resumed his stance. Both began to exchange blows without defending
themselves.
▶Boargen and
Orcs enjoyed the demonstration of skill, strength and tenacity of both
fighters.
▶The sun was
setting, the sky was beginning to darken, both fighters were facing each other
measuring their steps, the fatigue was noticeable, they had been fighting for
hours, but neither gave in.
▶The Orc jumped
first landing an aerial blow on the Boargen's head, taking advantage of the
blow, he grabbed him by the waist with the intention of charging him, only to
find Akram's knee in his jaw followed by three punches to the ribs.
▶They separated,
Akram took the initiative, charged with an aerial knee strike, Inngrim grabbed
the Boargen by the leg and whipped him to the ground, where he mounted him from
in front and returned the rain of blows to the head from before.
▶The Boargen got
up without getting the Orc off his chest, the Orc punished with direct blows to
the head without mercy while the Boargen charged him and whipped him on the
ground. The blow took its toll on both, Inngrim recovered faster and gained
Akram's back, using a Rear neck choke technique to strangle him.
▶The Boargen
struggled not to suffocate, and again making a show of brute strength, he got
up with the Orc choking them on his back, jumped up and slammed his own back and the Orc with his full weight, three times.
▶Akram managed
to free himself from the choke, but he was as stunned as Inngrim, both were laying on
the ground trying to catch their breath, their muscles ached, their eyesight
failed them. After a minute they got up, there they were, facing each other
again, the same scene that had been repeated throughout the fight, two titans
that did not give in.
▶Determined to
win the fight, both charged again, this time Akram charged Inngrim with such
force that without realizing it, he managed to stab him with a tusk in the left
chest.
▶About to crash
against the coliseum wall while Akram was charging him, Inngrim entered Berserk
state and with all his strength he grabbed him by the tusks, used his legs to
stop the Boargen's onslaught and smashed him against the wall he was charging
towards, breaking the wall and one of the Boargen's tusks, also leaving him
unconscious.
▶Silence reigned
in the coliseum, Inngrim was lying barely conscious resting and checking his
wound, The Great Witch checked the Boargen who after a few minutes regained
consciousness. They both got up again, barely able to stand. The Great Witch declared Inngrim the winner of the combat, and the celebration was not long in
coming.
▶Inngrim with
what seemed his last breath, applauded and praised his rival, announcing his
new alliance with the Boargen Nomads. The Boargen sad by the defeat, the
Orcs happy for the victory, both proud of their leaders and of such a
formidable rival, celebrated and celebrated all night, the beginning of what will become a long friendship.
▶Akram tells
that after the combat and after checking and healing their wounds, both Chiefs
got drunk and ate all night, barely conscious. They slept a whole day after the
night of the combat, and the scars they got that day, are the Scars of Honor.

Once again mesmerized by your creativity wrtiting this kind of stories, once more you've got me wrapped up with this amazing narrative.
The end was... I can't even explain it!!
I'm thrilled and excited to read more of your stories (:
Keep up the good work 😁

towards the Boargen, but the boarman used the wall to propel himself and return
the Orc's earlier headbutt.
