As I am seeing the map for first time a lot of questions are popping up, but also some criticism.  In my opinion the map is too colorful and animated - maybe that's the point but i felt like saying it. Also why reusing the same models of skulls, those big human-like creatures, buildings, the 2 mermaids etc. Why don't you make every different spot in the map unique? I think there is a lot of repeating in the picture.

The first questions that came to my mind are:I guess that the 2 continents/islands ( or whatever you'd like to call them) represent the 2 opposing forces in the game so are every race gonna get spawned in their own capital city or they are all going to spawn at a same place ? Also if they are going to spawn in different cities have you considered the idea of some of them spawn on the enemy's island/continent?

The only thing  visible in the Forgotten Lands except the skull is 1 tree is this tree gonna be part of the story line or maybe a quest(side or main) or maybe a place for a boss fight?

First of all, I really like the colorful aspect of the map. It clearly shows where are the factions located and where the starting zones for different species will be. As for now, I can see that the Forgotten Lands will be something like the last area where factions meet each other and fight themselves. Something like the whole continent of PvP activities mixed with PvE activities. (change the Forgotten Lands shape because it really looks like Northrend.) I don't mind that but please don't forget about open-world PvP in lower level areas. Atm, I can see one faction will level up to max on one continent and other faction on the other continent. Please don't do that make some contested territories where both factions meet each other, level up and PvP each other. On top of that don't forget about players who like PvE activities (dungeons, raids, crafting, housing...) which are essential for MMORPG and its community. Also, I see a lot of sea on the map maybe use it for different activities for fishing with your own boat or a ship or maybe treasure hunting.

Overall I love the colorful and fairly tale-ish approach you guys took, good job:) I can't wait to explore the Lundell and Moon Forest with my elf and fight some undead in the Dead Swamp.

    Hello,

I like how the Map looks, it shows exactly the area of each race and we can see how to work their buildings, each one has a particular structure.
The continent of Grommdor looks too much stretched to me, and the orcs have only one way to go anywhere. In Dead Swamps everything is cool, it looks like a big old kingdom falls, but again looks we have only one big way to go. I want to see the Dark Desert by the descriptions of the areas and buildings. The whole continent makes me think about how all these races are friendly and don't fight each other. To me, some part of land flew away from the space between Gara'dul and the north of the River of Three Sins.

In Mynorath I can see a well-distributed continent, it seems that we have more ways to go, more destiny and no only one way. The problem I see it's Drumspike, a lonely capital of The Domination, it doesn't look like it has a harbor for a friendly dock. It seems vulnerable, only in your faction in Mynorath. The other races have a pretty territory with too much area. And I think it will be some neutral areas, areas that belong none of the playable races, we have Frengorn Jungle but it's only on the south of one continent.

The Forgotten Lands, mysterious and it's good.

I suggest trading some areas to form a well-divided map by the factions. Maybe let the Undeads on the same continent with the Elfs, Dwarfs, and Minotaurs. In history, the humans left their land after the Undead surge, but the diplomacy with the allies continues. And on the other continent, we see Orcs and Infernals fight against the wild Bearans and Humans teach the Bearans to speak and defend themselves like in the lore.

All the map, in general, looks beautiful to me, I can't see the time to explore with each race in the game. To finish I have some questions about the areas.

It will be possible to travel to the other continent? Because it appears to each faction have yours.
We'll have neutral areas, with neutral races?
What does it mean the giants on Gravestone and Throsgard?
On Southeast in Dead Swamps and Minas Grim we can see some structures that look futuristic, what is it?

I'm glad to know this project in the beginning part, and it's good to see a world be made. I hope you do a good job.

It would be good to see a port-side wharf - mini city - for each faction.

The Domination could have a ghostly shipwreck vibe and the Scared Order could have a Game of Thrones Westeros vibe.

    Hello Gabriel,

nice to see you around. I am really glad you reviewed and gave your opinion, ideas and questions about the map. That what we do in real MMoRPG community.
To travel between the continents you can use the docs from Grom'kar Bay & Hoof's Glade. Plus there are portals which are discharged but used in the past. You can see more of the connections here:

For neutral areas we have Frengorn Jungle and we are in developing for a neutral area in Grommdor.
The Giants are enslaved by the Dwarves and Undead to work in their mines as heavy duty workers. We will review more on that soon.

The map is not yet final.

    Kind regards,
    Armegon

I like the world map. My concern is that Grommdor is much bigger and stretched than Mynorath. Of course, this is not always a bad thing but for me it will be good if all races and factions have (almost) equal territory for exploration and adventures. Also, I think it will be good if both factions share some common areas for exploration, quests etc. and not reach each other only by sea and by one port.

Well I think there will be some kind of outposts/small villages in each others continents where the opposing faction can go.

Also the dungeons would be scattered on both continents, so the players will have to go on the other side.

The Minotaurs are positioned on Mynorath and they are from the Domination.

And after we are in the early stages of creating the world, most likely we are going to be making some changes.
