The last topic of the Human Lore Discussion is about their Values & Beliefs.
Do they value their families the most? Or maybe their honor? Should they have strong beliefs in their religion? Or maybe they believe and value their King?
Tell us what should the Values & Beliefs be for the Human Race.
For Humans I would like a classic medieval chivalrous mentality: God, king and honor.
In this case, instead of God as such, we would be talking about the Light or the gods to whom Humans pray.

Another fascinating topic to talk about and which I have a pretty good idea of how it could be. Think for a moment and imagine being the first of the first races created by the ancient gods, as well as being blessed with the power of light and other magical powers. great right? A race that until the current era has followed (according to the article of its race) its traditions and laws written by the first men.
Such a feeling of gratitude and honor must have given great importance and respect to the gods and all those figures related to them for giving them tremendous gifts and a place to live and prosper, being ruled by King Lothar Methryn without major problems.
Suddenly, however, Queen Nepherimas destroys everything they worked for, dividing humanity into humans and the undead, and separating (perhaps) their beliefs from others they didn't practice before. Perhaps piracy became more prevalent among humans and values and honor waned, perhaps black magic and necromancy got out of control and thus more humans following false promises abandoned the light and joined the undead.
Despite all this, the king and hero Venuin Stonehill managed to restore peace, law and faith to humanity, making it rise from the ruins and decay, and founding a kingdom greater than that of the previous king. They may still fervently believe in the Old Gods of the Order, however it is possible that they no longer depend on them so much and that they now stand on their own without abandoning their beliefs and values of yesteryear.
I think that humanity has put aside that era of dependence on the gods a little and now they are much more worthy of themselves, their beliefs, laws and traditions, all this without completely turning their back on the gods of Order but completing More importance to their heroes or soldiers who fight for them against the orc invasions, the advance of the undead or the endless fight against demons.

Values are difficult, I think every living being has a mix of different values.
So here is important to talk about the "standards required" that each society "should follow", no mattering whether they follow them or not, because no society is perfect.
Humans can have a strong faith and devotion to Old gods due to maybe historic past events (even if they don't deserve it) .
Elite class and Human religious leaders (evil ones) can use this to manipulate the lower social classes. Just like Catholicism and Cristianism did.
I think the Humans can be based on faith, devotion, obedience and hope.
WHAT IS THE “LIGHT”?
▶The Light is not a substance contained within a body, it is a sort of primal force/energy that created the Scars of Honor universe and that exists in all things just like other primal forces such as Dark, Void, Shadow, Anti-Light or whatever you want to call it.
▶The Light shows that there is a connection between the self and the universe.
▶Its like positive energy residing in every living being, in every heart and soul, is everywhere, binding all. Just like the negative forces also. In different quantity
▶The powers of the Light can be harnessed to heal, cleanse, protect, or harm.
▶The Light isn’t “limited” by racial or body restrictions, it uses who/what it chooses.
▶The light is a primal divine force, gods are not the owners or creators of the light, but they can gift the light and use it in a much more powerful way than mortal beings.
▶The Light is an energy, but it has been personified many times by its followers and others, believing that it has a "will", or that it makes deliberate choices, or that it is "good", while the Void is "evil", but such concepts do not apply to the Light and the Void, they are simply primal forces with their morality characterized by how they are wielded.
▶The Light is an important part of several races' cultures. Though overlap exists in themes and practices, several of the races have differing viewpoints and methods of wielding the Light. One thing is certain, wielding the Light takes intense focus and a very powerful belief.
▶The Light is used to empower its practitioners
▶The Light is also a source of technology development.
Please don't make Humans be the origin of paladins, I think Humans should have their own twisted and extremist version of Paladin and Priests Order derived from the original one. Hating Undead and Demons, and all they leaders say the should hate.
Here is a suggestion about the original Paladins and Priests Order:
THE LIGHT BROTHERHOOD
▶This is a Paladins and Priests lore suggestion
▶It is a neutral organization that seeks peace over the world. They try to hold to the highest standards of conduct, but even the most virtuous paladins and priests is fallible.
▶Sometimes the right path proves too demanding, sometimes a situation calls for the lesser of two evils
▶Sometimes their oaths lead them into the service of the crown as leaders of elite groups of knights, but even then their loyalty is first to the cause of righteousness, not to crown and country.
▶They believe that if you want happiness, you must work to better the universe to make others happy. Experiencing the glory and beauty of the world will in turn tap into the inner beauty and glory within their own souls.
▶The followers of The Light Brotherhood do not worship any gods, instead, it is a philosophy, they follow virtues, values and principles training its followers to seek perfection within themselves by helping others.
▶It is very much an active practice of virtue rather than a passive worship. Those who follow it closely gain spiritual awareness and guidance, allowing them to lead others.
▶Honor: Treat others with fairness, and let your honorable deeds be an example to them. Do as much good as possible while causing the least amount of harm.
▶Compassion: Aid others, protect the weak, and punish those who threaten them. Show mercy to your foes, but temper it with wisdom.
▶Courage: Overcome your fears knowing yourself, caution is wise.
▶Honesty: Let your word be your promise.
▶Duty: Be responsible for your actions and their consequences, protect those entrusted to your care.
▶Chastity: Is fidelity to the inner Being, the inner light with an understanding of the profound sacredness of the sexual energy. Sexuality is meant to be an expression of love
▶Charity: Is opening up our hearts with generosity toward others. We can be charitable with time, energy, listening, and of course with money, food, goods and services. We can have a charitable attitude toward our fellow humans by giving them the benefit of the doubt, suspending quick judgements, and avoiding accusation and condemnation.
▶Diligence: Work is necessary for life, everything in nature has some sort of duty to fulfill, which gives meaning and purpose.
▶Patience: Is the ability to forgive people and situations that are troubling, difficult, or disruptive. Patience is always tested in relation to the difficulty of the circumstances.
▶Humility: Humility is the natural reaction of the essence to the miracle of existence and creation we are one with the universe at the same time we are part of
