The Starting zone of the High Elves, hmm what should it be?
The first to come to mind is Woods, Nature, etc? But what about them starting as a freshly converted High Elf (previous Infernal Demon), which has to learn how to actually be a High Elf? Should they start in the capital or a camp? Could their structures be made mostly from glass and gold?
The possibilities are endless, give us all you've got!

So I was right about High Elves being Infernal Demons š® (What I really like about High Elves), I'll think on something taking into account that info š¤
But I like starting as freshly converted High Elf

The elves were once infernal demons servants of a dark god who forced them to live in a hostile desert, as a way to strengthen their followers, some of the elves' ancestral infernal demons revolt against their god, thus generating a rupture, some chose to serve to a god of "light/nature", and the rest chose to continue serving the "sober god", the demons who chose to serve the god of "light/nature" were blessed with an oasis in the midst of the deserter as time passed , due to the influence of ālight/natureā they lost the characteristics of demons and became what we know as elves. The "sober god" enraged at the betrayal orders his followers to destroy all traitors and so begins a holy war across the desert.
Greetings
The starting area could be some kind of school where your masters explain the origins of the High Elves.
You are then called to a hunting camp where you are learning the rudiments of your chosen class and finally take part in a hunt through the woods.
In this hunt, your group encounters a war party of Minotaurs (or Boargen) against those they fight, thus entrenching the differences between Holy Order and Domination.
See you.
Starting zone should depend on what kind of elf you are (as I said in the previous post, the kind of elf you are could depend on your skin color).
As is too difficult to create a zone for every kind, it could be interesting to create a zone that mixes different styles.
A beautiful forest with high marphile, gold and glass towers and also tree-houses AND caverns with their own edifications (in the style of Dritz Do'Urden books).
The starting zone should be just a little camp and when you start moving forward in the map different styles will be displayed.
Finally the capital city will have all the elements mixed at the same time or separated in zones. It should include an underground zone dedicated to the dark elves.

ELVES STARTING ZONE
Here is where the āPersonal History featureā that I suggested in the āCustomizations
Featuresā topic ( https://www.scarsofhonor.com/community/sharePost/4413
) can be a nice option to add a bit of Role
Play, for the Elves I would like to suggest 2 options for the Race personal
history and 3-4 options for the Class personal history:
Race Personal History options:
ā¶1.Freshly converted Elf ā You start on a Sanctuary where
you were converted to an Elf. Then you have to pass through a magic ritual to
evaluate your abilities to see if you can be part of the Elf military force or
just a citizen doing some minor and less dangerous activities.
After that they will give you a brief explanation about your rights and
obligations, etc. They will give you a book where you can study all that, and
thatās our Book of the Adventurer, where we can check skills, lore, mechanics,
etc.
Once you have your book, you will be sent to train your skills. Maybe if
you choose Witch, the ritual showed that you have Magic aptitudes and you are
kidnapped by the Witches Guild in the Middle of the way.
ā¶2.Born as Elf ā Thess are times of war so the Sacred Order and the Elf
society needs all the capable hands they can have, so they called all the citizens
to evaluate their skills, from here is almost the same that option 1, and your
starting quest and area will depend on the class you picked just like option 1.
And your skin color would be randomly got at the moment of the
transformation or due to your parents.
Class Personal History
options:
This options are going to be slightly different for each class
Example: Elf Pirate
ā¶1. Greed ā You love the sound of the gold and silver coins to buy
anything you want or just to store it. You donāt care how to get that gold, so
you joined the Pirates Guild to chase and get so much gold that you canāt count it.
ā¶2. Adventure ā You always felt like you didnāt belong just to 1 place,
you always wanted to explore the world and the seas, so you joined the Pirates
Guild to explore the world.
ā¶3. Theft ā You grow up in the streets, you had to rob to eat.
Once you robbed a Pirate, but they catch you and instead of killing you, they
make you part of their crew because they didnāt want to waste your skills, you
met a new family there, but everyone has to work for the gold!
ELF STARTING AREA
Example:
As I had been suggesting, It would be nice if each class had its own
starting area, this doesnāt mean that you devs have to create a map for each
class, its going to be the same Starting Map of the race we choose, be a
different area for each class of that Starting Map like I show in the images
below:
ā¶Elves Starting Town ā Here is the place where the
Elf society (or any other race) will evaluate our skills to send us to the
right area to be trained.
ā¶1.Elves Rangers starting area
ā¶2.Elves Mages starting area
ā¶3.Elves Druids starting area
ā¶4.Elves Pirates starting area
ā¶5.Elves Paladins starting area
ā¶6.Elves Priests starting area
ā¶7.Elves Warriors starting area
ā¶8.Elves Witches starting area
ā¶9.Elves Necromancers starting area
ā¶10.Elves Assassins starting area
ELF STARTING ZONE
LANDSCAPE
ā¶I would like to see the Elves like a race that knows how to
make the best of all the resources that the nature provides, bioluminescence,
water, sand, trees, etc all mixed with beautiful and nice buildings with huge
windows and towers.

-IN ENGLISH-
I think it can be anywhere, the elves are creatures that travel the world without any problem, which is in a forest, desert or even in the mine of dwarves, I think perfect, because they are often beings who seek to know other cultures.
