We at Scars of Honor are thinking about what a real hero needs and we think that heroes love going on journeys.
What do you think about having your own journey and off course a journey book where you can track it?
Will you like to have the ability to make journeys yourself and invite other players to come with you for a small price?
Maybe help you with a tough mob or help you gather enough materials, or even if you need people to help you build up your house? Whatever you think of. And we are not talking about regular parties, we want you to decide what you need to be done and you to set the reward for the other players.
The whole idea is not to follow a premade path and repeat it again and again and again with your alts.
Share your thoughts, we would love to hear how you imagine going on a journey!
Last editted: 2023-05-05 20:20:51It's a good idea I think lot's of mmorpg I have played mostly only people that you know and close come to aid and due to different timezone for me and then I end up alone looking for help even though I have many things to offer for helping. Star citizen talked about this idea and I liked it, what can I say I always wanted to be a quest giver. I think this will inspire players to make more alt to try out as well as doing other things. Simply the calculation would be-
Offer helps=>Get Paid=>Ask for helps=>Pay for things to be done=Fullfill each other's objectives
And I think this will draw players who are busy with job or family most of the time. I am okay with anything as long as there are no p2w elements like buff up to deal more damage and stuff if you know what I mean. I also like to hear others thought what most of the players want :) .

Hello Farhan,
thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.
In Scars of Honor there is one thing that is most certain. There will be NO pay to win factor!
Kind regards,
Armegon

Yes I've been in the same situation almost everytime. I'm a father of 2 and I know how hard is to game. I game whenever I can and I can't schedule raids or something like that, so I end up almost all the time alone trying hard to find someone for a party. But if I have to offer items, gold, mats etc. and put up a journey advertisement where the whole server can see, I'm sure I'll find very fast people to play with.
We are not fully discussed the journey system, but your "quest chains" will be journeys and they will be long and full of interesting things to do.
These are very early thoughts or should I say drafts. That is why we want to know how the community responds to this kind of ideas.
That idea of paying people to help you like a real fantasy world Guild, where players could post and find jobs would be a neat feat to add. It could easily create another layer of depth in to the game, make it more interesting if indeed that is the idea.
That could even be more neat if the job/crafting system is added to it, like I'm an alchemist looking for some rare herb and need assistance collecting it.

Hello George,
I completely agree with you. MMoRPG is formed around it's community. The game needs to focus it's ability to provide the community to create the game content as much as possible. From a developer's perspective we can't create as much as content as the community can. Neither we'll be able to create as much as interesting content as the community can, doesn't matter even if all Beast Burst Entertainment employees are MMoRPG gods.
Looking forward in seeing more and more community involvement into the project.
Kind regards,
Armegon
My only fear with this system is the possibility to create an ultra mega rich dude who always has the most powerful items and could possibly broke the PvP.
But in general this is a great idea, and thinking about, i think its going to be really hard to someone became this ultra rich guy.

Hello @FirstOnes
Well rewards from such events will not grant you pvp items or pvp currencies.
In that way I believe it should be considered safe. What do you think?
Kind regards,
Armegon

But it could give you crafting materials or something like that? So, that way you can craft PvP items (Unless theres no PvP items you could craft)

Well it isn't a very good idea to make PvP items craft able. For me you have to deserve and earn them with hard work, not just to gather mats and craft them. We can continue the PvP discussion in the PvP section of the game.
As for making someone filthy rich and powerful, well I don't think this can happen (unless everything he does is go help people to get paid, which is not bad he would earn the riches in a noble way). And also I think it would be good put some boundaries to avoid making a journey for slaying 2 pigs and paying 1mil. gold or something like that :)
