Recently i saw the Ral Ther post about his suggestions to the game. One of the things that he talk about was the Full Loot system, and i agree partialy with him. So, i want to say what (to me) is an almost perfect system of full loot.
First of all, yes, i think that droping equipaments is really bad. To me, equipaments should be something hard to get, but impossible to lose (except for selling the item). But i understand and enjoy the Full Loot system.
So, to me, should be nice if we have an system where you only lose the items that are on your inventory, but not the ones that you are equipped with. That way, thinking about an open world PvP scenario, players should take care of his items constantly storaging them. Maybe the game could have an PK system, that way, if you want to constantly PvP, you are going to have higher chances to lose your items from your backpack, and the peaceful guy isn't going to lose that much items.
''But Hippie, i'm just an pacific PvE player, i don't want to PvP to anyone, i just want to farm my things peacefuly and don't have to worry about losing them.'' Yes, sometimes i want to do that kind of thing too. So, heres my idea:
Similar to a lot of MMOs where you have the option to turn on/off the PvP, will be nice if have an system that allow player who have PvP enable to see exclusive resources/mobs. That way, you being a PvE player you still can get your PvE gear through the normal mobs without having to worry about being killed by someone else. While the PvP player still can get his PvP gear through those exclusive mobs/resources.
Yes, i know that this system of PvP on/off kind of broke the open world PvP, so i think that if the developers decide to not have an open world PvP, we should have at least something similar to ESO, where you have the normal map, and a huge open world PvP map.

Hello Guepardo Hippie,
thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. It really matters!
We think as well that turn on/off world PvP is a bit frustrating. However we have in plan to create several PvP zones with different scenarios each.
1. Red PvP Zone where all players are ready to be attacked by the opposite faction. Farming special quests/journeys/monsters and players hunting for each other.
2. Black PvP Zone where you fight players from opposite faction and upon killing you get random drop of one of their EQUIPPED items. Entering this zone and choosing to fight you are gambling with the items you have equipped, for the possible reward of receiving an item valuable for another player. When you kill somebody the drop of the random equipped item will appear next to the defeated player. If you chose to not claim the reward you'll receive a Black Token.
When you die killed by somebody else you'll be prompted with the question do you want to sacrifice your token instead of an item. Choosing to sacrifice the token, this Black Token will be directly transferred to the player who have bested you.
The Black token will bare your name in your opponent's bag! He'll be able to keep it as valuable artifact to present in front of other players showing who he have bested or place his name on it and transfer it in somebody else's bag.
Black Tokens will have different values depending on the rank of the player that you have bested.
Red and Black zones will not be constant!
One day it's one zone, one day it's another. It's a dangerous world man!
More to be revealed soon.
Kind regards,
Armegon

The idea of dropping one of his equipped item isn't that bad, but at the same time isn't something that i would really enjoy. Will be nice if theres an way to completly protect some item, like, an item that you can buy from an NPC or craft that allows you to chose an item to protect from dropping. Of course that this item can not be sold to real life money and you should only be able to protect one item at time.
And about the zones that change constantly, i think thats a really amazing idea, maybe don't allow begginer areas to be chosen as PvP areas will be nice.
Keep doing your amazing work, because as more i know about Scars of Honor, more i want to play this game.
