The week of the Orc Race has begun! And the topic will be Racial Abilities.
What would be the most suitable Racial Ability for an Orc? Should they have additional experience gain from killing Humans? Some kind of Enrage ability to get more damage? Maybe the ability to carry two two-handed weapons?

abilities should be PvE and environmental focused because it seems to be the
harmless option and can help preventing everyone from picking just 1 race for
DPS, 1 for Tank, etc...
So ORCS, here some skill ideas that I think match the Orcs
= = = PASSIVE SKILLS = = =
▶Only the strongest survive: 5 -10% more XP from killing BEARAN, OGRE kin and BIG size mobs👹🐻( NPC and Players), because Orcs
always have that feeling of measuring strength killing or defeating big and
strong enemies, and Bearan and Ogres are going to be BIG and STRONG, also it
can help each race having their unique leveling spots, Orcs can go to an OGRE
camp or can go to a dungeon located in BEARAN lands full of BEARAN, duh.🤣
▶Heavy workers: 10-15% more WOOD or STONE gathered, most Orcs
buildings are made of big trees and stones.
▶Harsh environments: 5-10% FIRE resistance if their natural
environment is going to be lava and mountains like we saw on pre alpha map.
Enviromental resistances are cool, but you have to be careful, because if you introduce too much fire damage in dungeons and the Open world, Orcs are going to be OP, I have an idea for different damage types for classes that I will post later
= = = ACTIVE SKILL = = =(Where balancing racial skills becomes more
difficult)
▶Berserk rush: Activate Berserk mode to break any Hard CC (if you are under hard CC effects) gaining immunity to soft CC, and reducing the next hard CC duration to 50% for 10 seconds, 1 minute cooldown.

I suggested
Humans should have a unique dungeon and world mechanic skill, so I will suggest
the same for the other races.
▶Brute Strenght: Orcs should be able to interact with BIG size
pulls, levers and objects.
I really dont like weapon type racials because of the stigma that forms around a 4ace not using it. Like what if what to use a sword because it looks cool and its also really good gamplay wise , but my race has axe proficiency . Then i feel like i am not using it to the max.

I am with ypu on the feats of strenght in dungeon . And the fire resistance could be more of a reducer. Like if you get hit by a fire arrow that burns for 5 second . The damage over time pnly last 3 seconds 70 percent of the time.
BRUTE STRENGHT Orcs Racial Mechanic

▶You
already made it through the dungeon, you are at 1 step from FINAL BOSS that is
located at the last floor from this Orc underground prison.
You only have to make it to the bottom taking these SPIRAL
STAIRS full of TRAPS and Ogre guards.
You notice there's this circular ELEVATOR PLATFORM between
the stairs, you only have to PULL the BIG LEVER to activate it, the INFERNAL
DEMONS and the UNDEAD tried but got a message "You aren't STRONG enough to
move it".
And there goes the ORC pulling and activating the elevator,
allowing the team to evade all those dangers. Without an Orc it would have
taken more time.
▶This
can make speed running achievements more strategic and interesting, because you
will have to think what races will include your team instead of just running
and killing everything at max speed
▶You
killed the last boss and there's a BIG door behind, the ORC is able to open the
door and all the team got an extra CHEST with more loot.

You are
fighting in an arena, the opposite teams are fighting in a zone FULL OF TRAPS,
but the lever can only be activated by ORC STRENGTH, you are an ORC buddy, you
activate the TRAPS and BOOM, HEXAKILL for you!
This would
impulse everyone to have a variety of races and would make content more fun and
a bit more strategic.

You are questing in some ORC RUINS with a friend (UNDEAD) and your friend finds a chest that's at the other side of a BIG cell, the BIG door is locked with a BIG ROCK, you ORC, can move that rock, and BOOM, some JUICY LOOT for you and your friend.

Thank you, I really think a simple mechanic like this for each race, can introduce more fun to the game, I don't know how difficult can be to create some objects or terrains that can only be activated or interacted by 1 race tho.
It can work also, if each fire damage tick has a 10% of placing the BURNING STATE on the target, and the BURNING STATE has an STANDARD damage and duration, let's say 1000 damage over 10 seconds, Orcs can decrease it to 3-5 seconds.

Damn, that sounds pretty cool! It reminds me of Darksiders Genesis where you have different skills for Fury and Death and each one can interact with different objects, I've never seen any MMO doing something like that

Orcs should get a get a general a duration reduction to being slowed, stunned, rooted etc. All the physical CCs that impede movement.
