    Marvelous Community,
here is a very interesting and important Discussion!

What is your preferred NPC behavior? Do you like them unpredictable? When do the NPCs and mobs become annoying?

As usual, we can't wait to read all of your comments and ideas!

Retreating mobs are by far the most annoying. More so when they retreat and bring back multiple friends instead of just one to help them. Anything that automatically engages you shouldn't flee in fear when they end up losing. A mob that we attack and engage has more reason to flee in fear than something/someone that attacked us first.

Annoying for an NPC would be a vendor walking away while I am still buying/selling stuff to them.

will be more immersive if there are some kind of reputation associated with the npc then  they answer you more smart if exalted.

If you are developing an achivements system depending on which you have the relationship changes. For example, you has killed 70 PetaQuantumTrillions of a race, so the people of that race talk to yo with fear, or even they run away for a few meters.

Rude persons that if you are more than 10 seconds looking what their are selling close the selling windows and blame you.

Every time that you enter to a zone they follow you like a headless chicken trying to vendor you the most precious jewel from the  rarest and dangeours mine of the most far away mountain opening you trade, after two times open, he fixes in another one until you come back after an internal cooldown.

some npcs that bring you chain quests, has a little dialog that gives you the possibility to get better or worst loot at the end of chain.

This is a great question! Human or monstrous characters as NPCs Hmm.. hard to decide, as two races have a different view in a way for example, human NPCs at the beginning of the game to direct new players, and as the game progresses, we could find differentiated NPCs "Other races" " This makes everything more interesting and differentiated, as well as making the game even more fun! In my opinion :D / Sir Seiphew Last editted: 2022-01-22 10:55:57

    -IN ENGLISH-

I consider that the NPC is something complex, I would really like that more that they were unpredictable, that these changed a little according to the events of the game, as for example Christmas, that depending on your factions, these react in a different way, For example, if you are of the domination, an NPC of a city of the sacred order should not speak to you well or at least not seem friendly to you.

I think there can be everything from NPC doing nothing but walking and going around to fill the world to NPC helping you find a place in a city, after all it’s your decision how to manage them, but I think it’s impossible to make a perfect NPC, just a well-used NPC.

I really would LOVE to see that low level mobs doesn't auto aggro when you are way ahead them in levels (except when hitting them, getting extremely close, or for example, drinking some kind of agression potion to get aggro from every mob maybe, idk), so it doesnt interrupt journeys, gathering, etc, for monsters you could easily oneshot sometimes.

I would like that every time I encounter a mob it has to a challenge to kill it, and if I pull a second mob it would be interesting that winning against 2 mobs it is almost an impossible task or at least I use all of the class resources or skills. That way it would be interesting trying to avoid pulling to many mobs.

In terms of NPC I would like them to speak every time you walk close. I believe is a nice touch ,for example, to be welcome by the guards when entering to a city.
