I've read that you are planning on doing the classes in a similar way to specs in WoW. But wouldn't it be better if each class had a few (about 5) baseline spells and on top of that a pool of spells/skills to choose from and every 5 levels (starting at level 5) you would choose a new spell/skill to learn? So at level 50 you would have learned 10 spells by leveling up, and you would have about 5 baseline spells so a total of 15 spells. And let's say that each class would have a pool of 50 spells to choose from. New spells could be added to the pool with new updates allowing for even more build diversity without the need to change how the classes function at their core.
This would allow for making different builds and would offer players more freedom in customizing each character.
Players could reset the skill/spell points by paying x amount of gold to a reset npc. With each reset the price being higher. The price would go down to the initial amount every 30days.
Each character could also have empty "spec slots". Let's say 3. So each player could make up 3 spell/skill builds for each character and switch between them in Inns for free.
It would be even better if every skill had thier own skill tree allowing even more customization, like a choosing ''frost spell'' has x more chando to crit or x freeze.
It looks interesting opens up many build opportunities but it would also be necessary not to have many skills or have more points to spend with them.
