First of all, I do not speak English, I am using a translator to give my ideas of the game.
If something is misspelled, sorry.
Many of us here who are interested in the game, we have been to "wow" before, and we know what makes that title stagnate.
and I would like to give my impressions and hope that more than one think so.
1. the leveling system:
I
think that a good example to take into account to level up would be
"skyrim", where not only combat and missions make you progress, but also
practicing, becoming a specialist in what you have equipped, imagine
being a hunter and more Food you get hunting animals, you get bonuses
that make you level up faster.
2: the combat system: although they want to imitate wow in terms of basic mechanics, the wow combat system is somewhat outdated, in fact the demon hunter made fighting much more fun, and not just pressing buttons in order to do damage, I think they should also make the combat more dynamic, maybe not something super elaborate, but maybe something more visually attractive, as they do in "genshin impact"
3. the equipment: I think I'm alone in this,
having to spend hours and hours fighting in dungeons and pvp waiting to
be lucky to drop a nice equipment. I would like to see an equipment
system by race or class, that is obtained through history missions, that
is strong, but not enough, that helps you defend yourself in pve, but
if you want pvp or maximum difficulty, start working on this much more,
so those who have little time, either for work, taking care of the
family, etc; They may have good equipment in the same way, but those who
dedicate themselves 100% to making all the content, will have the best
as a reward for their superior effort.
so the casual and the hardcore, will have a reward according to what they invest in time.
Hello mate and welcome, dont be shy because you dont speak english, most of us are also latinos!
1. I dont think the Skyrim leveling system would work, it was added in early alpha of the elder scroll online and was a total disaster. However i do think that you can get bonuses for alternative activities in the game, aka professions or other minigames. (in wow i leveled an alt through battle pet...i dont think that leveling through alternative meaning should be that easy either btw)
2. Genshin impact isnt a MMoRPG, having that level of animations in a raid or a 20vs20 battleground will lead to a MASSIVE lag. However, i also support not using the modern system of WoW. I miss the old talent trees and make hybrid classes. For example, mix shield and arms warrior talent trees to be a gladiator, aka, a mixed custom class.
3. I think the loot system is one of the most important topics in a MMoRPG and one of the reason why it could turn into a toxic community. I think that the content (so the loot) should be balanced for all, not divided between casual and hardcore. Why? because it was one of the main reasons why WoW turned toxic as fuck. Casuals behaving like hardcores, everyone using RaiderIO, everyone wanting only Meta classes and specs in their group. Dividing the community is not the answer but the very disease. The most the community is like wow classic, the best. And remember that raids and content escalate with your level (and so the loot), its one of the main features of the game!!!

As for the point of equipment, I think I must insist, have an option for those who do not have much time to play, or want only to dedicate themselves to the story, in wow there were countless times that I could not finish the story because I had to enter a dungeon or raid, and after 3 minutes they took me out for not having the "main equipment" of my class. bfa I never finished it, because nobody wanted to help me finish the biggest raids.pedia helps in the game and was totally ignored, so much so that for legion, I had to wait for the expansion to finish, when they were all at maximum level to finish the history.
If they repeat that, we only let you play if you are well equipped; this game won't beat wow. if or if you have to take into account that part of the "hardcore / toxic" community, because they will arrive and there the fun is over.

I agree with you 100%.
There is a quote that i love "You either die as a community oriented MMoRPG or live enough to become a f*cking E-sport oriented game"
I think the vast majority of the community dislike retail wow (that is why we are here after all) but i insist that the main problem is that the game become elitist (aka Raider.IO plebs) rather than the loot system.
I personally think that the loot should be something worth and meaningful, not a epic purple spam. The feel of having a epic drop should be one of the most satisfying part of the game. In other words, i dont like piñatas "everybody get a prize", i want shout yeahhh when the purple drop, not a "meh, +2 ilvl but low my haste...i will disenchant).
But as i said before, most of your fear is the community not helping people who is casual, remember that the content scale with level, so there will plenty of people wanting to make groups to do content with you because, whatever your level is, all the content will be meaningful.

I hope so, because a wow or a wow clone enters, I prefer the wow, because I have been in that game for years and at least there I can do more things apart from pvp or pve.
I hope they keep in mind that if you create an armor or weapon it is at a similar level, but not higher; The kind that you fall for playing dungeons or hunting in the world.
Since in wow at least, creating items is wasting time and gold.
